Great Laptop so far....have not had it a month yet. Bought it for my niece....her first laptop, picked this one because it had most of not all of what I wanted for her.
My niece wanted to start gaming and she didn't want a desktop so this laptop is a decent starter for the price....a I5 2.3GHz, 8 GB Ram upgradable to 32GB, 256GB SSD, Full HD. Backlit Keyboard, Nvidia GTX 950M vid card and it has a 15.6 inch screen.
Made me want a new laptop.

The GTX 950m plays well enough for me at 1080 gaming. You won't always hit 60 fps though. I currently have two other 1080 monitors up and I can play a game and watch a movie (maybe not 4k and sometimes not 1080@60).
It might be my network but the wifi can go in and out making you reset the wifi adapter.
I have a good number of USB devices plugged into a hub so the USB is well powered.
The keyboard backlighting isn't too bright but enough to see what to type.
The webcam is fine for a budget laptop webcam.
The arrow keys aren't for me, they're too cramped.
I don't use the touchpad much, I don't use it much as a laptop so I can't comment on the heat, and I've only used the SDcard slot once.
Overall a great laptop. I've had it for a year and it has kept up with my power user poking and prodding. I would definitely recommend it.

Much better than expected for the price. The speakers are a little quiet, but otherwise performance is great due to the parts inside.

As advertised, the PC came with an i5 6300hq, GTX 950m, and 8GB of DDR4 RAM.
The Good: The hardware is extremely competitive at this price. The CPU is advertised as a 2.3GHz CPU but when plugged in averages about 2.8 GHz and often see a full 3 GHz. The 950m is certainly powerful enough for light gaming, as I stay above 60 FPS in Dota 2 with the settings maxed at 1080p(As a side note, it also handles Skyrim at 1080 High very easily). Off the plug, in power saver mode, the CPU downclocks to as little 650 MHz, and doesn't feel the least bit under-powered for basic web browsing. The included SSD is an M.2 drive, and there is space for a HDD in addition. The RAM comes single channel with another slot for future expandability, which are both great points.
The Bad: There is bloatware. Expected on a computer like this, but still annoying. Most of the pre-installed software was useless like Wild Tangent Games. The included Acer software has been lackluster. This isn't a big issue, just know that you might want to uninstall some things right off the bat. On the other hand, Mozilla Firefox was pre-installed as well, which is a nice touch.
The Ugly(or just indifferent): Temperatures range from about 33C up to 72C depending upon the compute load. The trackpad does not have dedicated buttons, they are integrated with the surface, which I find annoying but your mileage may vary. It isn't super portable but is light enough to not be a burden when carried to school or library while fitting nicely in my backpack.
Conclusion: It's snappy when doing basic tasks and load times are amazing with an SSD and can power light to medium gaming on the go. It's not the most premium item and does include some bloatware, but nothing to bad or infuriating. At this price, it's a very nice deal. If it goes on sale, it is a better deal.
