    This is just for downloading apps and surfing the web basically a tablet with a built in keyboard

      We are sorry you are unhappy with your Acer Chromebook. Chromebooks are different from Windows laptop products in that they are designed to be used primarily while connected to the Internet, with most applications and documents living in the cloud. Because of this they don’t have much for on board storage but they also are not expensive either. Chromebooks run off apps like an Android phone or tablet so you cannot download and install applications or .exe files. If you need to use third party software applications that must be installed on the computer, a Chromebook is likely not for you, where a Windows laptop would suit you better.

    I got a refund for the Chromebook and got a HP. HP was much better.

    Trouble on the horizon

    The price was great and I thought I would be getting a similar chromebook to the 14" model that I bought 6 or 7 years ago. The screen on this one has gone black 3 times now and is questionable as to whether it will "come back to life". I think there's limited time remaining on this one.

    Adapter is not charging laptop. It displays calculating and remains calculating. Why do all computer businesses not make a decent adapter now? The adapter and laptop should last more than a month without issues.

    Chatted with best buy and was lead to believe that chromebook would meet my needs. I was mislead. I will never trust chatting with a best buy rep. ever again. Disappointed big time.

    This Acer Chromebook was one of my greatest buys. The price was most competitive, shipment was next day delivery. The big 15.6-in screen makes cruising the Internet easy and fun. And, the numeric keypad is a wonderful feature. Boot up is fast. You are on the Internet in less than 20 seconds, And the Chrome OS does just as much if not more than Windows.

    For the money, this is a great little chromebook laptop. It has a full keyboard, which is very nice. I mostly use it for surfing, downloading photos and document. It works very well.
