Price was very reasonable. Touch screen not responsive. Battery life is bad. Don't like the constant request to update apps I don't use. Size of screen is adequate and the bright green Acer logo with the light flashing from left to right when you boot it up is awesome; which is nice; so you've got that going for you.

I was looking for a 7-8" tablet that's inexpensive to be used as an ebooks reader since the recent Amazon Fire I purchased to be used as my ebook reader does not support the publishers's ePub apps from Thailand. This tablet serves my purposes well for an inexpensive android tablet that supports google play apps. I've been using it as my ebooks reader from Thai publishers and Kindle. I keep all my ebooks here. I try not to use other functions since it's quite slow and keeps frozen/not response often with Facebook and google Chrome. In addition, the keyboard supports only one language at a time. It cannot be switched languages like Apple iPad/iPhone and/or Samsung tablets. However, it serves my purpose fine to keep all my ebooks here and use it as an ebooks reader only!!

I picked this tablet up on sale for 100 dollars. I mainly needed it to read pdf files for a college course. I first tried buying an insignia tablet but it had horrible battery life and felt cheap. You definitely got what you paid for with that tablet. This one is different. For 100 dollars you get a great tablet that runs smoothly for most daily use. Weather its watching videos reading pdf files or browsing the web. It only hung up every once in a while, definitely not often enough to make it anoying. If I had to list a con it would be that the speakers are not very loud.

This little tablet is the perfect size for my wife to toss in her purse and always have acess to info.,or entertainment as she(or I,LOL) need.Shopping,at the Dentist,or Doctors office,etc,etc. Fairly fast and also with the ability to use a micro sd card plenty of storage ability.This is a great little device, and for the price you can't go wrong.I would highly recommend this to any one depending on your needs.

I tried a smaller 7" tablet for portability but realized I wanted a larger screen. The 9 and 10" tablets were too big and bulky for my tastes. So I decided on this 8" tablet. It works good for my needs. Easy to setup and use. I've had this for a couple of weeks now and not had any issues with it. Nice display and a decent camera.

I did read many reviews of this tablet prior to purchase. I wish I had listened to them rather than to the sales person who assured me it was a good product. It isn't. It freezes up constantly, almost every time I do searches online. I can usually get one, sometimes two, then you have to shut it off because it is frozen and will not respond. It also heats up way more than my first Acer (which, by the way, was a great tablet) and you either suffer through diminished screen settings or set it down and let it sleep. Battery life is less than impressive as well and I am charging this thing everyday instead of every three or four days. Although many of my previous apps are not compatible with this new tablet, I am able to use a Kindle app for books and I can still play Solitaire. I really just hate this tablet, I wish I could return the thing, and if I could have purchased my old model, I would. I may still, if I can find a refurb. Pretty sad when the old model is a far better product than the "new and improved".

It has 1 Gb RAM. default system takes around 400MB. Then when we install Facebook, Instagram, Sling, Pinterest, Chromecast like this apps it reaches to 800MB. then if we want to work on multiple apps, opening any of them is like headache. initially Chrome opens so fast but once we keep log in gmail account, it started making us realizing time value.

I purchased this tablet for my aunt. She has had lesser quality ones in the past and is very impressed with this one! It is easy to navigate and the storage is wonderful!

this tablet is sweet. very affordable. and perfect for what i needed. as long as you don't bog it down with an excess of apps it operates sleek and smooth with very little drag.

Bought it as a Christmas gift, but user friendly, good speed.

Bought this not expecting the best tablet but it really does come close to my daughter's Samsung for the money. Would buy again.

I purchased this small tablet to show my business on the go! Its perfect! Small, lightweight, effective! Just what i needed! Easy to use, consistent.

Light with large screen, pretty fast processing, great for simple web browsing, email, music player, games, etc.

This is an excellent tablet. The only discrepancy is the inability to discern the native capacity for a microSD card. The salesman indicated 128GB, but the Acer manual indicates 32GB. Despite the uncertainty of the capacity, the product more than meets my needs. As it is, my primary uses are language translation (via Google Translator's offline capacity) and epub reading. All in all, a well made product at a competitive price.

I purchased this tablet to use on my ATV/UTV as a GPS to track our trails as we ride many miles and don't want to get lost. Well when I got it, it didn't take me but a few minutes to notice it was more plastic than the others with the metal structure. BUT, I did find that every feature worked well and my need for the rugged tablet is something I should have checked on a little bit more.

Great alternative to a Samsung. My daughter said it feels a little slow at times, but that's all. Good price point.

This thing is light and has a nice screen. It's also pretty quick and has decent storage. My only complaint is that it's a little thick.

My mom needed a new computer. A traditional desktop and laptop was a bit too much for her as she mostly just emails and reads online newspapers. This tablet does everything she needs. It is assuredly simple as to what its capabilities are, but for someone with very little need for a full computer system this tablet is perfect.

For its price, this is a good tablet. It performs well. It does not feel cheaply made.
