This laptop is phenomenal! My only recommendation is to upgrade to an SSD to speed up your experience, but other than that it exceeds expectations. The only negative come from AMD’s own software. They make it unnecessarily difficult to bring out the full performance of the dedicated GPU if you don’t have technical knowledge when it comes to computers.

Have had this PC for a couple of months now, and it works well. Have had no problems. Although it is big and battery life is somewhat limited, unlike most PC's there are service panels which allow easy access to the hard drive and memory if you want to increase the memory of install an SSD. For some folks, the tendency of the case which has a nice metallic finish to show finger prints might be a minor annoyance. Overall, I am pleased. This machine replaced another makers's Core I-7 and 12GB of RAM from another retailer that was a nightmare.

Its easy to use. Charges well. Holds charge fairly well but if streaming, it gets sucked up. I haven't had it very long but I do enjoy it.

This laptop is the perfect gaming computer for beginners and lite PC gamers it pretty powerful and good for the price.

Pleasantly surprised with this laptop purchase. Was looking for a cheaper "gaming" laptop to play World of Tanks and other games with. This laptop more than does the job. I now have frame rates in the 150ish fps range as compared to 30fps with a two year laptop i was using. I did update the amd drivers which helped a bunch and added a ssd drive that i had from last laptop. love the lighted keyboard and the seperate number pads. Overall very pleased with my purchase

Decent laptop for the price. It'll run most games on low/medium settings just fine. I did not end keeping this laptop as it did not fit my needs so I can't say how it does in the long run but still a decent laptop at this price point.

Great price for entry level gaming laptop.. Performance is moderate for almost all games.

I love the look - black and red with a backlit keyboard. WiFi is 5G with Bluetooth built in, a step up from my prior laptop. There is no DVD drive, but that's the only negative for me. It is a good deal if you can get it on sale, which I did, but I might not have bought it otherwise.

My husband had his eye on this laptop and we found it on sale! Acer - Nitro 5 15.6" Laptop was a great price and great features, but the only problem my hubby has is that he can not figure out why the lighted keyboard won't stay lite all the time, which is why I gave it 4 stars out of 5.

Really enjoy gaming laptop. Battery life isn't the greatest, but it runs smooth with no problems

Bought this laptop for my son and it’s great. He loves the ease of it and it’s game ready.

This was for my brother who mostly games on Xbox. This plays the few PC exclusive games he wants and also has an OK battery for school. Can get a little hot but performs as expected for the price.

Me and my husband are gamers, we own a ps4 and thought a gaming laptop would be a great addition. This laptop runs most games with ease, like CS:GO and America's Army Proving Grounds (free-to-plays), but runs Apex Legends with some lag.

Bought as gift for my Son, He’s very happy, good quality, easy to use, he said is fast enough and good capacity !! bad for me He’s stuck playing game to much time ! The price was A+ we purchase at the store under a good deal Sale !!

I use this to do 3d animated rendering im poor so this gets my hobby done lower takes a whole day for 1 picture. I bought this because i liked the processor and it could be upgraded. Opened up the bottom hd slot and its full has my 1tb drive iin it, so the empty slot for me to access and upgrade is under the cover??!! or not there at all, still have to find out but i hate takin covers off at least 1 little tab always breaks or i ose a screw. Got 1 6 gb ram had to take out bottom original ram becuse new ram didnt fit into top slot, but it fit into bottom original slot, then the original ram doesnt even fit into the top slot, so atm i only have 1 slot for ram. looking for info on this but i shouldnt hav to spend time doing that i should be rawin pictures, thats what i bought this for, not for a new set of problems.

A great gaming laptop to start off with as a beginner. I purchased another 8gb stick of RAM and upgraded to an SSD to get better performance. Works like a charm playing online games like Fortnite and Apex legend

I'm not an avid gamer, but I got sick of playing even the simple stuff on low settings and listening to my processor fan try to keep up with the light video editing I do. This machine let's me play games in a way that actually looks good and meets the criteria for the video editing I do. Is it the best out there? No. But for the price you pay, it can't be beat.

It’s a great laptop but I recommend upgrading the ssd, I didn’t play graphically heavy games on it but halo wars 2 and league and it ran flawless on high settings

My daughter wanted a gaming laptop. So we bought her this computer for a her first one. Its pretty fast and the display is amazing for the price. It's a great starter laptop.
