I love this as a first time gaming laptop! I think its the best out of any Gaming laptop I've ever seen. Its really easy to use coming from a person who barely understands how laptops function which is great for me because watching videos is useless now that it gives me clear information about how to fix my laptop when i need it! Its easy to use and i think it's not too pricey for a amazing laptop instead of using a pc. You could also add more storage and space with just a chip! It comes with the Laptop too! It lasts just as much as a Pc would. Although an Cooling mat would be very much needed for this but I think its a normal thing for many pcs and laptops but it's still an amazing experience for anyone that gets this computer. The speed on Nitro Acer just amazed me when i first opened it up and loaded on a game like valorant. I used to have crazy lag and my fps wasnt that great either. Each time i I played I was just in awe. The display is very clean and you can adjust the sharpness of your game too! Battery life last a while but i think it would be better to have it charging since in my experience it wouldnt last long but thats no issue. So overall a great first time pick especially when you don't know which computer to pick for a first time since there are many options but for me I gotta say I love this computer!

This is a pretty awesome computer i personally like it, battery life isnt the best obviously because it is a gaming computer so its best to use it while charging. I would say battery lasts 2-3 hours if youre using it nonstop. Other then that everything is perfect runs games smoothly and anything else such as school work. It does have some weight on it i think it weighs about 5 lbs. Awesome computer amazing for its price 10/10 i love it. I tried taking videos but i dont think it lets me post them.

So I’ve officially had this laptop for a year now so I think it’s time for a review; out of a number scale, I’d give it a good 8/10. Overall definitely did the job I bought it for and was a great upgrade for the sale I bought it for. The laptop looks great, love the red keyboard light, and the Nitrosense has really helped when it’s come to keeping it from overheating and not overpowering the CPU. Now, the negatives. Like all gaming laptops, it is pretty bulky (def thick) and the fans can get loud (I brought it to class one day LOL, but Nitrosense does give the option for a quiet mode, though I didn’t use it cause I forgot.) There are also only 3 USB ports, so def keep that in mind if you need more. I have also noticed that the pin will stop working? And I’ll have to “reset it” and sometimes, the laptop will just glitch out on me and I’ll have to restart, it’s frustrating. But I do have mods and am pushing the storage, so I will mention that incase it’s not helping (let’s be real, probably isn’t.) But they do work and I have minimal lag, and when I do, I really just think it’s my wifi rather than the laptop itself so if you’re questioning if this is a good starter gaming laptop for you? If you play FPS games, like storage (though will likely need more eventually, like I do now), and would even like to possibly stream with it (like I did on Twitch a couple times, laptop performed well and way better than expected tbh!): then the answer is yes! If you do end up making this purchase, I hope it does the job for you like it did for me! :)

The Acer nitro 5 is a solid mid range gaming laptop that offers good performance for its price. It has solid graphics components, and a decent cooling system for its value. been mainly using this to play classic games on retroarch but ive also been using gamepass with it and this laptop is very fun to game on. xb1 wired controller instantly connects when i plug it into any usb port. good purchase for portable gaming setup. as others have said battery isnt great but its good enough to play a few hours on if im not near a charger.

Got it on sale and Im really impressed by how smoothly it runs a large variety of games that I've been wanting to play over the years. Storaged seemed low compared to others but if you're getting a ton of older and indie titles (which this machine runs better) than the storage will still be enough to have dozens of games installed at one time. Very happy.

This is my very first laptop I ever had in my life, for me the design of the laptop is great for me and the performance for its price. The battery life is a bit short when using heavy softwares which is understandable.

Bought the Acer Nitro 5 after doing some research on buying a gaming laptop for the first time. Love it! I would say the battery life sucks, but I mostly use it at home.

I love my acer my only issue is the battery life could’ve been longer but I’m not disappointed because of the quality of the graphics for the price I got it for!

Got it as a starter gaming laptop for my son. Runs great and for the price its perfect for what he needs. Also super easy to setup.

Battery life not that great! 2-3 hours! Works good crashes occasionally though but that’s windows for you. Very fast. Seems well made! I recommend a wireless mouse for sure.

Brand new to gaming on a pc, didn’t want anything to complex and this laptop was perfect for that. I ended up being able to play any game with no problem, definitely would recommend to beginners.

This Gaming Computer is one the best price to performance,handles titles such as fortnite at 200+fps and warzone at 100-130frames, The killer wifi 6 is impressively good for getting good ping in game.A external monitor would greatly improve performance for this laptop. Great battery life, speed is amazing, the 144hz display is really smooth. Just a overall great laptop.

This laptop has gotten me through healing from a broken leg. It works wonderfully and can do anything I need it to from gaming to streaming and school. I don’t know what I would have done without it. Laptop performs wonderfully.

This gaming laptop is good for its price. Acer is one of the best manufacturer of laptops, thats why i choosen to purchase nitro 5, smooth gaming, processors run smoothly, i like the dual fan and the nitro sense very cool.

The laptop processing speed is more than adequate. It runs games really smooth. It also works really well for all the basic school needs of my teenage son.

Best Budget Laptop Can Easily Run New AAA games no problem the only.. The only problem with this Laptop is that the temp gets high around 91c and the Speakers sounds quiet even if the volume is at 100% and the speaker doesn't sound good so i recommend buying a small Speaker Preferably a JBL GO as your sound system..

Very fast. Play games like final fantasy 11 or 14 on high setting. Dont let peole fool you thinking you need a 4050 high rtx card. This. 3050 ti
