Very good gaming laptop

The battery life is good for a gaming laptop, often averaging over 4 hours during normal browsing and watching videos. The only downfall I would say is the lack of storage. I would recommend buying a HDD to add to it, but it really isn't required, the SDD has adequate storage.

Good Starter Gaming Laptop

My only frustration was with the USB-C port which doesn’t support video output (all the other ports are required for the base use of the Oculus, so we had to use a $70 adapter to export the video to our TV so that the family could see the same thing as the player).

Awesome power for an awesome price

Typically, I would have turned my nose up at Acer in the past but the quality has gone up of their components. I also have an Acer Predator 34-inch curved monitor and I have never been happier with a monitor. That purchase led me to seriously consider the Acer Nitro 5 and I am glad to include the Acer products going forward.
