If you're not into heavier games you could probably find something cheaper, but if you are and on a budget this might be for you. If price is no object you could easily spend twice as much and get a few more frills. But if high performance at a lower price appeal to you this one fills the bill. This is my first solid state drive and I must say I may never go back. Not real big at 256Gb but it's fast. No optical drive which bothered me a little but I already had an external drive which works fine with it. It seems most games are going to downloads these days so that won't matter much anyway. Also no touchscreen either but I usually play games on my bigscreen tv and I don't use touchscreens on laptops anyway so less $ to buy it. Good not great sound (for a laptop) unless you connect to your surround sound for gaming like me. Cool looks, nice keyboard and display, does what I want it to do. My experience with acer has been good. I like it a lot.
