I purchased this for myself for my Birthday, after living with a cheap Lenovo for a while. When I received it, I was very pleased with the sharp graphics, speed and light weight of this laptop. The price was reasonable and delivery was next day free!! I have had this laptop for about a month now and haven't any issues with it. Money well spent. Happy Birthday to me!!

Great laptop especially after I added another 8gb of ram (Very easy upgrade). I love the big screen for work / gaming and is worth the weight trade off in my opinion. The only issue I had is one morning the screen wouldn't turn on even though the system was running. I ended up having to discharge the laptop. Most Nitro laptops have a battery discharge pin but not this one so I had to open it up, disconnect the battery, discharge it and then use the power cable with the battery still unplugged and turn it back on. That did the trick and I haven't had an issue since.

Extremely happy with this purchase. Very fast, plays most modern games at moderate to high settings without any issues and without breaking the bank. Definitely recommend this one for a casual to moderate PC gamer that wants to play most games out there. With that being said, if you're that serious about playing the latest and greatest on the highest settings possible, this is not for you. Just go build a PC.

I was ready for a bigger laptop, I wanted a backlit, quiet keyboard, and the Office products I need for my graphics design work. Wanted to be sure all my existing files would transfer from my W7 to W10. This ACER Nitro 5 ticks all the boxes and more! I must admit I'm not into gaming, but this laptop has the speed and accuracy I really appreciate! Fast startup, fast shutdown. Awesome machine! Happy Mother's Day to me!

This is my first gaming laptop and I can really tell the difference now between a gaming laptop and a regular laptop. It seems much faster and handles graphics much better. Visual quality is excellent. I don’t use audio much but it seems to be less output than I would ideally like. Overall though, I am loving this product. If you are one who has had a gaming computer before, I have no idea how this compares.

It runs super great, the buttons are comfy and easy to type but only flaw I’m getting is I keep losing connection even when I updated everything... even the drivers

It's not perfect. It's a great laptop for the price. If it's bad it's easy to upgrade and it does perform. With or without upgrades. Good for price...

Great price on this 17.3 in laptop . Unit has good picture quality with average speakers sound. Quick processing apps. A good buy for entry gaming laptop.

So far so good! The screen is amazing, the speed is incredible! The only drawbacks are the volume at max isnt very high. And it can get hot quickly.

This Gaming laptop is incredible value for money and can easily be upgraded. I am a MacBook Pro 16 user and I can say this laptop feels just as fast as that. The Nvidia GTX graphics card in here is a respectable performer and can easily handle any game at 1080p with pretty high frame rates. The Nitrosense coolboost software included is awesome because it gives you a way to cool the laptop down. The fans can get loud but this laptop never got too hot even under heavy gaming. I upgraded the ram from 8GB to 24GB and added a 2.5" Samsung 1TB SSD and now this thing is loaded with even more performance. That's a great thing about this device is it can get faster with some simple ram and storage updates. The Display on the device is plenty bright and while it is not as high sharp density like some other laptops, the matte texture makes glare virtually non existence and because of it's size you wont be close to the display so you won't notice how it isn't the sharpest too much anyway. The keyboard on this laptop is not the best and I have felt better keyboards but travel is good and it has a nice number pad and several levels of lighting, all in all a very acceptable keyboard. This laptop falls short on external audio the MaxxAudio is not very loud or rich, and I'd say just stick to headphones with this one and use the external audio in a pinch, but any serious sound you will need a headset or external speakers for great clarity. Battery life is not bad considering the size and power averaging around 3-5 hours when doing regular tasks on this device, but keep it plugged in when gaming as it can drop down to 1-2 hours when doing gaming. No SD card is a bit annoying but not a deal breaker considering that an adapter is very easy and cheap to buy and you might already have one. Other than that the port selection is good. Overall, this laptop was my first gaming laptop and I couldn't be happier. The device offers amazing performance and cool looks especially if you like red and black color scheme at an amazing price point. It is a bit heavy but that's expected for a laptop this size. For it's intended audience, a user looking for a maybe a first gaming laptop or trying to get tons of performance for as low as possible, Acer knocked this one out of the park and it's shortcomings are very minor and easily forgettable.

Arrived early, good packaging. This laptop has a great keyboard that's easy to use. The graphics are good and it seems to be quite fast. I am pleased with it so far. I bought the machine to use in place of a desktop that took up too much space so it is plugged in most of the time and I can't really comment about the battery life.

I bought this computer because it has 2 open ssd slots. I literally pulled my old ssd hard drive out of my dead Lenovo and put it in this laptop and had all my data instantly. there is also a open m.2 slot for another hard drive if I want it. Its plenty fast enough for me but im not a gamer, I just liked the ease of upgrading.

This is the first gaming laptop I have ever purchased and so far I love it. I haven't really tested it out hardcore yet but the few games I have played there haven't been any issues at all. My only 2 complaints are that the screen on mine seems to pivot a little too easily (me being picky) and the battery doesn't last as long as I feel it should. Probably an easy fix for both I just haven't looked into it yet.

Right off the bat it loads to the desktop quickly and has a very light weight. The size is pretty good, although I had to get a new backpack that could fit it. It has a decent amount of ram and memory right off the bat, and the ram is upgradable. Pretty good for the average casual gamer who wants to run a couple of the older high-graphic games, just don't expect to be able to run Horizon Zero Dawn at top quality.

I purchased this laptop for my Twitch channel and it does the job perfectly. The NVIDIA GeForce GTX is good but I really wish I had went with an i7/RTX with at least 12gb Ram. But this little bad boy def meets Min. system requirements for even the most graphic intense games and it is a lot of bang for the buck! pick this guy up you will love it!

I bought this laptop exactly 1 week ago when it was on sale, and it works perfectly. I can run many games like fortnite, roblox, and valorant. It has a lot of gigs and it was simple and easy to set up sign everything up. The screens really big and the keyboards have a nice red light. 10/10.
