We purchased this laptop as a birthday present for our son, who loves games. He absolutely loves this computer and he has zero complaints about it. This is the first non-Apple computer our family has purchased in the last 12 years, so I was skeptical, but he is very satisfied with it and recommends it to all of his gamer friends. The price was great for what it does and he says it looks "cool," so that must mean it looks good, too.

I am not a big PC gamer I rather playing on consoles. However, so far I have been able to play games such a Street Fighter V, Call of Duty World at War II, Halo The Master Chief Collection, etc ., among others very smoothly. I really enjoy the 17 inches screen and the colors and brightness are decent. One small detail is that after playing for a while the bottom of the laptop tends to warm up more than what I would like.

We bought this for my son when Covid hit. Since the kids needed to do at home school. Of course he uses it for gaming too. He says he loves it and we bought it on sale so it was a great deal at the time. He’s he says it’s really fast and keeps up with all his gaming needs. It looks really good specially when its all lit up. You can just tell by looking at it it’s so well-made nice quality laptop.

Lets start this off by saying, I AM NOT A GAMER. But this thing runs everything I need it to for my woodworking shop. Sketchup, video editing software, and the internet all at the same time. Sorry gamers if you were looking for a review.

I wanted a balance between a decent gaming laptop that would also work well as a second work computer. I'm very happy with the Acer for both uses. It's not the state of the art for gaming, but for the money it does everything I expected and more. It's fast and the graphics and frame rates are solid for gaming. I did a lot of research before and and I'm glad I got the Nitro.

Great computer. I added 64 gigs of RAM and it easily efits in premiere pro

This PC was perfect after I bought it, everything ran perfectly, but a few months later I ran into some pretty serious heating issues. The PC uses thermal pads and paste, but the pads seem to go bad quickly and its hard to find a replacements. The speakers are also pretty disappointing for the price.

Pretty good deal. Will be a great system by adding more RAM and either another hard drive or M. 2 drive.

This is a heavy duty laptop with lots of power, capable of gaming / 3D modeling / video streaming etc with enormous capacity, hard drive, agility and robustness. This also weighs lot more than many other laptops, so for someone needing a light weight laptop, please double check the weight works fine to carry it or to hold it while working on it.

So far it is working great. I was surprised, not much bloatware at all. Seen reviews about it getting hot, but all laptops are going to get hot. It does get warm but not too hot. I did have an issue with getting my Oculus rift to work, but after installing steam VR it is working. I have tried a few VR games and all have worked well, even though it says " your video card is not compatible''. I think the build quality is good for the price. There are much more expensive one with the same plastic feel. Overall a winner.

Had issue with several keys on the keyboard not working properly. Had to press down pretty hard to get them to work. After using them a few times they started to work a little easier. Didn't use the computer for a little over a week, but when I turned it on, the keys I was having trouble with, wouldn't work at all. Contacted ACER and they sent me a shipping label. Followed the package and it arrived at their service center yesterday. Haven't heard anything yet.
