    Gaming Beast, Budget Case—Nitro 60

I picked up the Acer Nitro 60 to replace my aging 5-year-old PC. While info on this model was scarce, I’ve been impressed so far. It runs quietly, keeps cool, and handles AAA games at 4K/60fps effortlessly. Gigabyte components for both the GPU and motherboard are a nice touch. That said, there are some drawbacks. It only offers gigabit Ethernet and Wi-Fi 6—disappointing given many PCs at this price point include 2.5G Ethernet and Wi-Fi 7. The 2TB drive lacked a heatsink, so I swapped it for a Samsung model that had one. I also added a 10GbE card for faster networking. The case is my biggest gripe: it’s small, feels flimsy, and the PCIe slot covers are non-replaceable. With the large GPU, space is tight. Overall, once I made a few upgrades, it’s been solid—hopefully it lasts as long as my last rig.

The PC handles like a champ and is super quiet compared to my last one. I upgraded from a pretty old PC I built in 2019. I am getting solid frames on newer triple a titles. I am having some issues registering the product with Acer to try to update drivers/bios. Support told me this is because it is a brand new product line. Hopefully this gets fixed. Otherwise I absolutely love it and highly recommend.

It has been excellent for all my uses and works perfectly with my dual monitor setup. The 5070ti is excellent for renders, games, and content creation. This computer does all effortlessly at a great price for the specs. I highly recommend it for those looking for something more!

This computer is a beast. It powers through renderings with super speed. Fans are quiet even at high speed. The only cons are the lack of USB-c or thunderbolt ports. That would make this a fantastic upgrade to a great computer.

The packaging arrived pretty well, except for one bent metal hook that secures the glass panel. So that panel plate was actually protruding a bit out of the fit, but I think the packaging filler from inside kind of pushed it out, or maybe the assembler just really jammed the glass panel into the PC against the slight excess volume of the packaging filler. Nothing visually noticeable, though. I just pushed the hooks back into more of their proper place. So occasionally, while playing some games, the PC rarely but does turn off the display, and the fans jump to max speed randomly. I observed that the PC was still on because I could hear my friend on a video call still. I honestly can't remember if it had also shut down the game being played. It's weird. I just hard reset the PC to get back to going. I'm thinking of ensuring the GPU Card and the RAM are firmly in place but it seems to be so. All the wires were attached for me. I'm no tech expert. GPU driver is also up to date. I've turned on a GPU debug mode on one of the games, so hopefully, it will tell me what is happening to troubleshoot. I personally like the rainbow gradient color make of the fans. I notice you could actually change the lights to a solid color in windows settings. RTX5070TI is also the best value for graphics. Its DLSS 4 technology can still reach high frames in all its glory while also having great baseline frames regarding its native performance, rather than splurging on like a RTX5090 just to reach high frames natively, idk just my preference.

Bought this for my son’s 21st bday. Let’s just say he friggin’ loves it! The graphics are incredible, the speed is amazing, and the tower is super compact. I’ve been a fan of Acer products for a long time and they hit the bullseye again with this desktop.

I bought this hard drive for my son, who is a graphic designer and animator. He needed plenty of storage for his work and gaming. We visited Best Buy, and the staff was extremely helpful! This hard drive not only looks fantastic but also works perfectly. It has built-in cooling fans and doesn't overheat. It's the ideal desktop for his needs. I highly recommend this product.

This desktop is amazing! Every game my wife and i throw at it, it runs well. Only gripe is that the website advertises it comes with the keyboard and mouse. It does not. You will need to supply your own if you do not already have them but for me that was a non issue. High performance desktop that looks great and runs cool. Buy with confidence!

Upgrade from older workstation with AMD 580 8gb GPU used to edit videos. Introduction of image and video generation required RTX GPU. Upgraded workstation to 64GB VRAM and second 2TB nvme. As delivered performed well with image generation and capable machine for light video generation. Decent performance and price point for an entry level image video generation workstation. RTX 5070 Ti handles most tasks.

    Worst Customer Experience Ever

Where to begin. The desktop itself was awesome. I had to go through a few desktops to finally find the one that didn’t hiccup in performance and this was it. This desktop played everything on 4k ultra settings flawlessly. Warzone was at about 150 frames with everything maxed out plus a 4k monitor. WOW, RDR2, League, Kingdom Come 2, I mean everything played beautifully. Finally, got the right one. Then the unfortunate happened. It suddenly started to shut down on its own. Updated BIOS, and every driver I could update and nothing. I would start a session and boom it would turn off. So being a Member Plus I decided to just exchange it. Unfortunately this location didn’t have it so I opted for my money back. They call their supervisor to check everything and in comes Henry the supervisor. Let me tell you this guy was the worst employee of any company I’ve ever come across. Beginning with his attitude. Right off the bat he looks at my purchase history and randomly asks me if I’m a reviewer. I’m a bit confused and say no because I’m not. He comes to a conclusion that I’m a reviewer. So he snaps at me to take my items and leave and I’m honestly shocked. What is going on? I ask him if everything is ok with him and he says “Yes I’m fine you have a good day” and I’m still confused, I’m trying to just process a return and this guy is denying my simple request. He tells me to take my stuff and leave and he walks away. I felt completely and utterly discriminated against by this guy. So I make a call to customer service and they begin to help me out, ask me for information and provided with a number to call and to just process the return. So I process the desktop return with a different associate and as I’m walking out, Henry comes storming out of an office and stops me at the door and in front of everyone in the store begins to tell me “You’re a reviewer, I’m going to do an investigation and I’m going to get you banned, you can’t be doing this here.” And he continues on with his rant. Im just standing there quietly processing what he’s saying and my first thought is to punt this guy but I don’t. Instead I tell him that he’s a sad man and that I hope he finds some happiness in his life and I walk out the door. Feeling extremely embarrassed and like I can NEVER ever go back to Best Buy again, I decided to do my first review here since I’m being accused of reviewing stuff? His name is Henry the supervisor and he works at the Best Buy @115 N 76th St in Omaha, NE 68132

This thing is a beast. Ive purchased this to upgrade from a custom rig I built myself in 2017/2018. Even my old PC was great with a 980 TI playing most games at 4K with mid to high graphics. This thing though, handles 4K gaming with no problems and even allows me to use my VR (Vive Pro 2) at near max graphics for most games and flawless performance. The only real flaw with this PC is there is no native software to control the RBG lights, the fan controls or even monitor temps. Huge oversight in my mind, but there are 3rd party programs for temp monitoring, fan controls though is another issue. CPU could have benefited from liquid cooling as I believe CPU throttling is typically what hits first. Still a beast and very happy with the purchase. Upgrading the unit seems very doable with the spacious layout and cable management.

Almost gave up on this one because of audio issues but it was resolved by updating an outdated bios. Post bios update the nitro has bin amazing. So far I've bin able to run everything ive tested at max (returnal, armored core 6, silent hill 2 remake, etc). Also greta performance with productivity programs like blender, fl studio, etc. Great value for sale price. Would recommend!

I upgraded to this PC because my 3070 wasn't able to run games at 1440p 120Hz anymore, and I couldn't be more satisfied. It's an incredible option if you're thinking of upgrading or if you already had one. Everything runs smoothly, and at least I didn't have any issues with the assembly.

I was debating on building my own PC again or buying a prebuilt. I'm glad i decided to go with this. Caught it on a Labor Day sale for 500 off. I couldn't even find the graphics card for that price. I'm super impressed and haven't used my PS5 in weeks! This thing is a beast.

Considering the price of 1900, it seems difficult to find a better option with 2TB of storage and a 5070ti, which is quite powerful for gaming and should remain so for at least eight years, with the possibility of component upgrades later on.
