First, I had an issue with shipping. Bestbuy bought laptop from 3rd party and it took about a week longer than stated to arrive, meaning I had about a day with it before returning to work. However, for a laptop it isn't half bad. The laptop monitor isn't G-sync, but will connect to an external that is and have that function. The overall setup is great for cost with nice balances between cost-cutting and power usage. The SSD is on the small side, so I had to make sure to move all videos/media to the larger 1 TB drive. The included Frostcore fan helps keep system cool, and the CD/DvD player isn't too loud when it is used. I don't think there is a better 15" laptop at Bestbuy right now that can compete with the performance price of this laptop.

The laptop was amazing before i tried to get on the internet. The network card consistently power cycled my Modem every 15 minutes. So, i dealt with that for four days, getting angrier every time it happened. Then, i came home on the sixth day of having it, turned it on, and heard a strange noise. I didn't even have to look, i knew something was wrong. The laptop got extremely hot, and wouldn't turn on. I should've known better than to have bought an Acer product. Never again. From now on, I will actually take the reviews into my decision and not think I will be special and the product will work perfect for me.
