Backlight leak

Awesome laptop!

Hard to find this new 18" model for sale anywhere including Acer website. Best Buy even delivered a day early and I couldn't be more pleased. This is my second Predator and I moved my old one upstairs as it still works great. I'm not much of a gamer but the 4k movies and youtube vids look great. Zero lag when multitasking between apps. Go for it!

Sent it back to Acer, the fix didn't work and now I'm told through them it would cost $1k to fix. Sad considering it cost $2k. Won't buy it or anything from them again.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this laptop in July of 2023. It is now March of 2024. For the last 3 or 4 months I am constantly having to refresh pages in order for them to load correctly. I tried several remedies in order to address this issue. Nothing seems to work. Finally I called tech support who wanted to perform a factory reset. Upon trying to do this the factory reset files could not be located. Clearly something is amiss. Acer has been no help in trying to stand behind their products. I filed a complaint with the Better business bureau. The lady was of little to no help and even suggested I try to get best buy to handle the problem or file a claim with my credit card company. This lady from the corporate office of Acer. Basically buyer beware because Acer is happy to let any other company stand warranty their products but They have no interests in standing behind them.
