This a nice, lightweight chromebook. It has a good sized screen for watching streaming video. Having both a touch screen with a keyboard is very helpful to me as I hate typing using a screen keyboard. The ability to add storage with the mini sd card is very helpful as on-board storage is minimal.

Have migrated from Windows XP through W10 and have enjoyed the improved ease of use throughout. I have always felt a need for MS Office products while in the workplace but since retiring, I have found myself doing far less word processing and spreadsheet work. For web surfing and emails this Chromebook is perfect. Lightweight for travel and small enough to qualify as a large tablet with its touchscreen capabilities. Quick and capable of having multiple tabs open.

I am very pleased with the Acer Chromebook R 11 CB5-132T-C9KK it is a very capable machine and it has exceeded my expectations in many ways. Being able to install Android Apps now adds a lot more functionality and makes it worth getting. Right now some of the Android Apps do not resize properly to fit the landscape view on a Chromebook but that should improve over time as Chromebooks increase in popularity and the Apps are updated to support it. I bought this Chromebook so I would have an inexpensive laptop to take on an upcoming trip and I actually like it a lot more than I thought I would and I find myself using it instead of my Windows laptop. I like the idea of not using a Windows laptop and having to reboot the laptop for practically every Windows update that gets installed not to mention chasing down updates for the other various programs that are installed.

This Chrombook is great for basic functions. Online searches, banking, anything app based, and so much more. Though you can’t install much to it I love using it for anything online, school work, and watching Hulu. I also use this for inventorying my Magic the Gathering collection. Touch screen and 360 flip make it great for watching videos and also letting my kids play games to help them learn and calm down. I would recommend this chromebook to anyone needing more of a online based computer.

Light weight, fast, boots up quickly; no need for virus checkers - allows downloading of programs from the webstore, and has a nice responsive touchscreen. Really like the ease of chromebooks and when it breaks buy another and continue right where you were without any fuss.

I love this Chromebook. Honestly, I was not looking for the touch screen, but it is a nice feature. And the cost was the same as without a touch screen. For personal use, there is nothing I have not been able to do yet - produce documents, presentations, research, my taxes, etc. Would recommend this one to anyone as it has the quad core and 4 GB of RAM. Fast, light, powerful and very portable.

Purchased this item for my 7th grade granddaughter. She likes the touch screen and ease of operation. The size makes it convenient to carry in her back pack.

After looking at and reviewing many varied chrome books, I decided to purchase this model and am glad that I made this choice. It is easy to use right out of the box. It is small enough to take with us when we travel yet the screen is large enough for my children to easily read all emails, notes, letters etc. and use for their homework assignments. In addition for school and homework assignments they were able to use this for games on our recent car trip.The touch screen is a welcome addition! I was just disappointed that the Google Home Mini wasn’t included with this.

I did a ton of research before buying this because I really had no idea what a chrome book was! I wanted something to surf the Internet, make budget spreadsheets, and do light word processing- perfect for me. I got this c book because it is already able to get apps from the Google play store, it's touch screen, and I wanted a small light weight device. I got the 32 gb rather than the 16gb for memory because you can't put system updates on a memory card. See, told you I did a lot of research! I love this little machine for what I use it for. It's super fast, always boots right up, and best of all no pain in the neck updates to deal with. Just an FYI...If you aren't crazy about the white color, you can get hard cases for it as well in a wide assortment of colors!

My granddaughter can do her homework on a larger screen than her iPhone, we love this chrome book. It’s lightweight, concise and easy to use.

Bought this to use on a training course I did overseas. Had some concern about going w/ Chromebook vs Windows (or at least MS Office) but for my purpose this was perfect. The laptop itself and Google apps (Docs, Files, etc) boots up SO fast, unlike MS stuff. The Google apps don't have the power of MS apps, but for basic work are fine. I frequently use the touchscreen to scroll, enlarge, close windows, position the cursor. Why use a pointing device when you can use your finger? Really appreciate that feature. The battery's 10 hour usage was fabulous, as I was in class from 10 am to 6 pm and didn't have to worry about recharging. I also found I looked forward to typing on the keyboard. It just has a really nice feel. I'm typing this review on my office ergonomic keyboard and the touch feels clunky in comparison. The form factor also captivated me. The white color and overall design somehow seems bright, happy and friendly. My first impression in the store was one of "MacBook light". A really nice design for a budget price. And it's quite small and lightweight, so very easy to carry around in a backpack or even large purse. I haven't been this excited about a tech product in a long time. So glad I bought this!

My kids’ school district uses chrome books in their classrooms, so I thought it’d be a good idea to have one at home as well. This way it makes it easier for them to continue any work they do in school at home, because everything is saved on the cloud. The first one I purchased wouldn’t fully charge, but once I got it exchanged for another one it worked amazingly. The charge lasts a few days which is great because they use it daily. It’s easy to use and my kids are able to get on by themselves.

Battery great. Love touch screen. Durable. I use Microsoft Online on the Chromebook since I paid for Microsoft. Downloaded Microsoft Office 365 Desktop Notification app which I really like. I also downloaded OneDrive for all my files. I really like my chromebook and that it is a lot lighter than the laptop I was hauling around.

This product was on sale for $219, $80 off. At that price, it was not much more than other Chromebooks, but had these advantages: - touch screen - full 360 degree rotation, so it can be like a tablet, or V shape - newer processor (there were pros and cons listed, but with 4 cores vs. 2 cores, as Chromebooks start running Android apps, more cores will be more important as users are running multiple threads). - Ready for Android app download, which I anticipate will become a huge deal for kids (they can get the same games on their Chromebooks as on their phones) - All the external reviews I read listed the R11 as one of the top 5 chromebooks to consider, and nothing else in this price range was listed anywhere. There were some other promotions, but some of these Chromebooks only had 2GB of RAM or 16GB of storage. So for a little bit more, 4GB of memory and 32MB of storage was well worth it. Especially more RAM if you want it to last. NOTE: We also purchased the Samsung Chromebook and let the kids try it out. It was on sale for $160, $40 off. It has very similar specs, but no touch screen. Without any sales, probably the Samsung at $200 vs. The R11 at $300 would be the more economical choice, unless you have to have the touch screen or tablet mode.

I bought this Chromebook to connect and upload photos to the web when traveling, Love the touch screen but don't use it past the 180- degree opening. Works well, boots up quickly and with what I use it for the CPU is more than adequate. Smaller, lighter and less expensive than the traditional laptop.

I got two of these for the kids this past Christmas. So far everything works great. The size, weight and performance is perfect for them. Battery life is good and we liked these because they fold all the way back into tablet mode. Some Chromebooks do not. I like them so much I may get one for myself.

This is an awesome Chromebook. The battery has an excellent charge lifespan. It is very fast and I can find any app for any task I need to do. It is compact and lightweight, yet durable. I would say this is my favorite electronic device in our home.

After doing a ton of research I chose this laptop. It’s very lightweight! I love having the touchscreen and the versatility of using it as a tablet in addition to a laptop. I love that it stays changed for hours! Very easy to use! It’s a nice item! I’m very happy with my purchase!

I love my new chromebook. I love the touchscreen and the ability to turn it into a tablet. I am still figuring out how to use a chromebook efficiently. The battery life is pretty good. It seems to be longer when it is offline. This is great for surfing the web, using shutterfly to make photo books and watching netflix. THe screen sensitivity is not the best though. I prefer to use the mouse.

Love my Chromebook!! Fast, reliable, and perfect size. Touch screen is a plus!
