CD ROM not working

Bought refurbished.
CD ROM was not working. Found out the the cable was connector from the ROM to the M.B.
At that time I noticed there were no chassis fan(s).
Comes with 8 GIG memory. Beware: If you upgrade your Memory Sticks to the larger/thicker ones (like the Dominator series) you will need to snip off one CPU fan screw bracket and remove the plastic locking tab on CD ROM as well as bending away the metal that the locking tab goes into to keep it secure.
Very tight to work inside of.
The video card works fantastic.
The refurbished price is fair but that should be the price for a new one.

Awesome value for the I7-8700! Added another 8gb stick of ram, however the motherboard bios are locked, and the ram only works at 2400mhz even if a higher speed ram cartridge is installed, but higher frequency ram doesn't improve intel CPU performance much anyway. I also upgraded the GPU to an RTX 2060 and it works perfectly! My only issue is that the Nitro 50 is on the smaller side so it tends to get slightly hotter than most larger builds and I highly recommend installing a 90mm exhaust fan in the back to help cool the unit. Overall it is an amazing PC for the price and can hit over 100 fps at 1080p high settings in just about every game!

MY HUSBAND PICKED THIS UP TODAY WE PLUG IT UP THEN NOTHING SO WE USED A BRAND NEW HA CORD THINKING THAT WAS THE STILL NOTHING........IT DOES NOT WORK

I did not like it it had no ssd and it was very slow
