Customers consistently note the absence of dead pixels as a positive aspect of the refurbished Predator XB271HU monitor. However, some customers have reported significant screen damage affecting the pixels. This suggests a degree of variability in the quality of refurbished units. Therefore, careful inspection is recommended before purchase.

I am extremely upset! I understand this this is recertified/refurbished but holy s***! How did this pass inspection??? I'm not talking about a few dead pixels or some bleeding, my monitor came in with some SERIOUS DEFECTS. There's no visible damage on this monitor but once its plugged in the whole screen starts to flicker and there is MAJOR damage with the pixels. Look at my pictures.
Will never buy refurbished products from best buy ever again.

Zero dead pixels or other issues, arrived essentially new. Packaging could have been more robust, but for a perfect xb271hu, I can't complain for $550.
Also, 2 year warranty.
I highly recommend.

I was concerned about buying this refurbished, but given that I used to sell refurbished goods in the past and knew the work that went into them, I hoped this would be a similar situation.
Monitor arrived well packaged with all original equipment. Unit was in great condition, with no scratches on the screen and very minimal wear on the frame. This unit has no back light bleed that I can detect, and no dead pixels. Very pleased with purchase.

Poorly done and Broken

The monitor wasn't even clean let alone functional, looking at the monitor in a well lit room made it painfully obvious minimal effort was done to make it presentable (there was "muck" on the bezel) - I saw a spot on the screen and knew immediately it was broken, plugged it in and sure enough from top to bottom it was cracked.
Disappointed to say the least, I won't be buy an Acer Refurb again.
