Posted .We are sorry you are unhappy with the placement of the menu buttons on your Acer monitor. With the bezel around the screen being so narrow, the buttons on the underside of the monitor's frame is the best place to put the buttons, without putting them on the back of the monitor. While we understand there may be a learning curve, most users get used to it with time, and can use the buttons easily after some practice. Owned for 3 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this monitor for my son for Christmas and of course after the return period is up it starts acting up. The picture flickered continuously so I called Acer and sent it off for repair. I just received it back today and they fixed that issued, but created a new one. DO NOT BUY!!!!

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This monitor is quite nice. The colors are crisp and clean, it's very lightweight, and extremely thin. The ONLY complaint I have, and I wish I had noticed the absence of this in the description, is that there are no mounting points for arms. I typically run a dual-monitor setup and mount my monitors on arms so they can be easily re-positioned, but this monitor doesn't have any mounting points to allow this. I guess it's a trade-off you have to make for how thin it is. If you're looking for a nice monitor and don't mind having it set on your desk, you can't beat this for the price. If you're like me, and you prefer to have your monitors mounted, you'll have to look elsewhere.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was very excited about this monitor, the price on sale was awesome and the reviews and the description were really good. However, I got a little disappointed when I received. First the model on the website shows a 3.5mm jack input on the back of the monitor (look at pictures) which is to get audio out of the computer to the monitor built-in speakers. Well, the model I received, although it says RT270 on the box, has NO jack input on the back. I thought, well, maybe the sound is supposed to work using HDMI cable, but it didn't either. The monitor simply does not have built-in speakers as it was advertised. Second, even though it's FHD when running Youtube videos the image smears and it creates and shiny shadow on the movements happening on the videos. That doesn't happen on the laptop as use as main computer, the same one the monitor is plugged in. I wouldn't buy this product again.
