I've owned the same chrome book for over 5 years. If that doesn't speak for it's self for the quality of the product enough. But I decided to upgrade to a newer version. And I am so impressed! Great touch screen and stylus. Great operating system. Also they have a lot of new features for offline use.

I was looking for an inexpensive, lightweight computer for my online college classes. This has been great! It's easy to carry anywhere (came with a cute case!). It does all that I need it to do and it didn't cost a fortune. I like the tablet option, and it is also great for my 11 year old twins! They use chromebooks at school so they know exactly how to use it!

So far so good. I love this thing. The battery is the best part. It actually last 8 plus hours while im watxhing movies or YouTube. Just wish i had known that Microsoft word is leased on chrome books. Cant buy it indefinitely. What ever that was my fault. Still love it. There is programs that are compatible that are free and work similar to Word.

This is my first experience with a Chromebook. Overall, I'd say it's lived up to my expectations, which, I didn't expect a PC replacement. To me it functions as a hybrid between phone/tablet/laptop, with an emphasis on the first two. This seems like a well put together device. It's not too heavy, and feels nice in your hands. For the screen, it's a decent size but has a thick black bezel all the way around. I've gotten used to displays with a very thin bezel. However, in tablet mode, this is actually useful because you can hold the device by the edge and not accidentally press anything on the screen. Boot up is literally seconds from being completely powered down, even faster if it's "sleeping". Setup is very easy, just login to your Google account and it walks you through everything. The sound quality from the speakers is ok for casual use. If you're expecting home theater sound, you should lower your expectations. They do the job they're intended for, and if you need better sound quality, you can connect Bluetooth headphones or speakers. As far as browsing the web, using applications, etc, the performance is excellent. I've downloaded MS Office for Android and it works well. I recommend using cloud storage for most of your documents though because you will quickly exhaust the built in storage if you don't. One of the best things about this Chromebook is the Chrome-OS. It's really fast for internet browsing and not too long ago, Google opened up the Play store for downloading Android apps. Most (but not all) of the apps I regularly use are available and make the experience that much better. Now, if you're expecting the same performance as you'd get from a high performance laptop, again, you need more realistic expectations. The battery life is decent, it'll last for hours on a charge. The charging cord a two piece and is pretty long and uses a USB-C connector. I discovered by accident that you can charge the device on either USB-C port (one per side). It has the latest WiFi connectivity and Bluetooth which allows you to connect to many different devices. It also has a micro-SD slot for expanding storage, etc. It comes with a stylus pen, but this one has a point like an actual pen/pencil, so it's great for taking notes in appropriate apps, etc. You can even flip the stylus over and use the other end as an eraser. It's actually pretty cool as it responds to different pressures and writing speed. I'll have to look for some apps that take advantage of those features. If there some features I would add, it would be an HDMI port and a back-lit keyboard to assist in low light usage (considering that a back-lit keyboard would reduce the battery life) The included carrying case is nice, has a special spot for the stylus so you don't lose it. It is not large enough to carry the charging cable, so make sure you've got a full charge before taking it with you somewhere.

So kids in middle school are getting assigned Samsung chrome books .., one after the other they continue to crash . Without a computer it’s twice as hard to get homework and assignments done, this computer has kept him up to date with no slow downs!!!

Acer has come a long way, this is my 2nd Acer, my last one lasted me 5years then I dropped it and one of the spring's that held the laptop together, broke, I used it broke for several months until I got this one, I love that I can use it as a laptop or a touchscreen notebook and I love that it is a big screen! Hope this is helpful.

I got this to use for my home business, my graduate classes, and as a teacher. I love it. The battery life is amazing and the pen really gives it a high end feel when in tablet mode. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the fact that transitioning from laptop to tablet mode and vice versa isn't smooth and it a little difficult.

I was looking for a small laptop for my 7th grader to use in school. A chromebook is perfect for this. It boots up in less than 10 seconds, easily switch between his personal and school google account, has everything he needs for Google Classroom. If your school uses Google Classroom, this is a MUST HAVE for your child.

Excellent little laptop and tablet replacement. Very impressed with the build for the price and it is much more functional than I could have hoped. Very glad I replaced my large Android name brand tablet with his much more functional and still extremely portable Chromebook. No regrets. Kinda want another one.

Excellent chromebook. Has held up well and performs well for middle school and elementary. Only issue is if you click on keyboard when powering up, the chromebook may startup with keyboard disabled. Solution is to restart chromebook without touching keyboard during power up.

This computer is pretty great for the price I paid. It is slow at times and can not hold to much storage but of course you can always get additional appliances. The only other thing I would say is when listening to music it is pretty hard to hear when set down normally, (must flip to be like a tablet to hear good).

The keyboard and gorilla touch glass are just the right combination for the visual as well as text based presentation. Graphics and text-great capability. Thumbs up, Acer!

This chromebook is a step up from the last one I purchased for my 10 year old twins. They love the touchscreen and the ability to spin the screen. This product also came with the stylus and a case. We have had the product for about a month and it seems sturdier than the last chromebook.
