If you are an old or a new fan of Jack White, THIS is the must-have CD set of all time! This music brought goosebumps, you can not only hear & feel so clearly the lyrics, you realize (if you haven't already) that this man is as much genius, as much as he is an artist. His smiles, his joy, his deep pain, his laughter, his love, his personality is so deeply exposed, stripped. He knew what to pick, play, place on this CD set to capture all hearts from all genres, & showcase his abilities yet deliver in the most humblest of packages. Listening, truly listening, to this raw soul, can & has changed the course of my day. It's a friend feeling in a retail CD, I may not know him, but his CD speaks some fun, wise, street, & soul wisdom for all to bathe in & be thankful, be grateful, to live life at its fullest each & every day - Thank You Jack White it's superb!!!

It is amazing to me that Jack White has done so much in such a small amount of time! Between his solo career and all of his bands, White Stripes, Raconteurs, and The Dead Weather, this guy is obviously a walking music library just waiting to be unveiled. This collection provides a really good cross-section of Jack White, at least from an acoustic perspective, and will give anyone a good feel for his talents. While this disc does not tell the whole story, it certainly provides the listener with a range of songs that covers 18 years of a career that would appear to have many, many more years left.

This album is composed of album tracks and B-sides, it includes remixes, alternate versions, and previously unreleased tracks that Jack White originally recorded for, the White Stripes, the Raconteurs, and from his two solo career albums. Contents [hide]

Let's be honest, Jack could've taken his two solo albums and made them acoustic and this would've been a great purchase. Instead, he dipped in and out of all periods of his career and delivered a must have record. I own it on vinyl, courtesy of a good friend and went ahead and purchased it as a cd for my younger brother.

Honestly I'd like Jack to do another CD like this, but leave out the drums. Hearing him sing with only the guitar was such a pleasure. It was lovely to listen to some of my favorites stripped raw. Jack White always delivers.

This guy is one of the top musicians of the last 3 decades. Every song he does has a unique sound and a pure thread of rock n roll. While a lot of songs have a somewhat slow and melancholy vibe it's still a collection worth listening to.

Consider this to be the best of Jack White's acoustic songs. This two disc set includes solo work, White Stripes tunes and work with The raconteurs. A nice collection of stuff from an truly underrated performer.

This is sorry of like a greatest hits album. When it was advertised as acoustic, I thought it would be new, acoustic recordings. Some of the tracks sound like they are directly off of the original albums.

This is a nice collection of Jack's acoustic tunes, although I would have liked more new or previously unreleased work. I already own most of what's on these 2 CDs. Still consider it money well spent.

It took a couple of listens before I settled in and enjoyed the disc. The songs that I was familiar with were obviously the more enjoyable . But after a couple listens it is good to groove with.

A great compilation from one of the great creative musicians and artists of our time. This work shocases his talents in a way that varies from his core music of the past with the White Stripes, The Raconteurs and the dead Weather. Great music A+++

This album hits on a lot of Jack White's different styles. Great versions of many songs I'd heard and of many songs I hadn't . For me, this album is perfect for a road trip or chilling in the yard! All around superb music put together very well.

I have enjoyed White Stripes music. Aucoustic Recordings double CD caught my eye while shopping at Best Buy at a good price. Haven't played it yet so 4 stars for now.

Just recently started listening to The White Stripes, and discovered this nice collection of Jack White’s Acoustic Recordings. Nice addition to my music collection and was able to do it with my Best Buy rewards.

Not being too familiar with his work this was a good introduction. I've heard some of his "electric" stuff and think I prefer the acoustic on these cds.

I thought this might be re-recordings of his songs done acoustically, but all it is is all the songs that he previously recorded that were acoustic (for the most part). It is still pretty awesome anyway.

If you're a Jack White fan, you likely already have most of these songs. Different arrangements make it a must have CD.

If you enjoy the white stripes, this is a must buy to add to you collection.

It's a decent cd. Lots of songs already available on other cd's. Acoustic versions of everything which is nice.

Jack White is awesome and this is a great overview of his career! I've listened to this quite a bit and will continue to listen to it for years to come.
