These speakers are a terrific deal at the price. The sound is amazingly full for such small speakers, filled in warmly with the large subwoofer.The satellites are well made and heavy, as is the subwoofer. I recommended that you hook these into a proper 5.1 receiver with a subwoofer pre-out, and you can make adjustments to your settings till you are happy. You will need to be some good speaker wire, but they come with wall hardware if you want to mount them on the wall. For the price, and the sound there is not a better deal out there.

These speakers sound great. I was a little weary at first because I have never heard of the brand before, but they had great reviews so I gave them a try. I am glad I did. I had a old set of pioneer speakers and these sound a lot better! The only thing that I didn't like was the weight of the surround speakers. They are very heavy duty (a metal casing), but they don't have a problem with the brackets that were included. Overall they are a great purchase.

I know this sounds over the top but this speaker set sounds just as good as the Polk rm95 set we have in the game room. These speakers pack a punch you have to hear to believe Seriously......... I had a lot of reservations about this set but when the price dropped to $139 with free shipping I couldn't resist. The brushed finish looks beautiful and they just feel like a quality product when you're holding the speakers in your hands. My only complaint is that there is no real center channel. You get 5 identical satellite speakers. If you can still get this, even for $200, get it!!! It's worth every penny. The subwoofer isn't a velodyne but I bet it could hold up to any entry-mid level sub on the market.

The speaker system does not come with wires. A trip to the hardware store for a 100 foot roll of medium guage wire solved this for under $20. The system is designed for optional stealth speaker covers that can hide them including a chest for the subwoofer. That is not discussed in the description. They are a good value with good sound and are definetly an upgrade from the home theater in a box systems. Shipping is expensive and they can't be picked up in the store, so you are stuck paying that plus tax. I hunted for better deals at Amazon and Ebay, but came up empty (a set of similar pioneer speakers on Amazon had a 1 to 3 month shipping delay). The powered subwoofer has a larger speaker than most for the price, but did I mention the speaker box is big?

I higly recomnd these speakers for your sound system. They may be hard to find but are a great price
