After you install the program a instruction video pops up and wow what the program can do. It's a long video so having a pencil and paper handy so you can write down some of the things you want to do with your music or sound files. Again the video is long so you thing holy crap and wow this program is amazing. The Video is still just a scratch of the surface what it can do. It can cost thousands of dollars for other audio programs with the same features. No names mentioned but check around. Have Fun

I would HIGHLY Recommend this software for beginners. I like this software because you can do cool effects with you voice and it has multiple track, instrument and effect selections.. You want to make sure you have a studio microphone when you use this software. It is not included with the software. Overall It is a good software for getting started with Music Production.

This software works well and it's easy to use. It obviously takes some getting used to, but when you install it, a video pops up on your default browser with an intro instruction video, helps a lot!

It's ok. Not necessarily what i was expecting. I hate that you have to change internal audio settings for it to run better. I do like that it can annotate sheet music for you. That's it's high light. The samples are just as good as even cheaper recording audio programs. I would only recommend this for hobbiest or beginners. It works better with a midi controller.

I am a beginner with mixing music on the computer and I had very few problems with the program.

I was in the process of upgrade from Vista to Win 7 when I bought this program. By the time I finally was able to install it I had trouble downloading from the cd that came in the package. I ended up downloading from the Mixcraft web site. I had other problems with my computer which I finally resolved and, finally, was able run Mixcraft. I'm still in the beginning stage using this program but I think I'm going to enjoy it. I've used a different mixing program before and for the money this one seems to do more and is easier to use. Customer service is superb. I emailed them when I first tried to download it and they resolved my issues promptly.

Easy to use, and did the exact job I needed it too.

This is a pretty good program for audio recording and mastering. I've used earlier versions of Mixcraft years ago and didn't care for them, but after reading some reviews and watching some videos of this version I decided to pick it up. I haven't been disappointed. It does pretty much everything I need it to do, provides multiple tracks and mastering. The only thing I dislike, which I didn't realize, is all the truly good guitar, bass, and drum effects that Mixcraft has are held off of this version and on the pro version only. However, it is set up so you can add any that exist out there, so I've been able to work around that problem. Still, if that's what you're looking for, I would recommend saving up for the Pro version. Otherwise, it's a very strong and useful program.

Pay for the upgrade once you get this, about $49.00. You get the ability to save as an MP3. We loaded a song at 1.2MB and it grew to 51MB! We clipped the song to make is shorter...and it grew that large. Easy to use and works very well otherwise. Have not used the movie edit feature yet.

My Daughter had a similar product for school and she just enjoyed it. So we purchased this. Now we cant get her off the computer.

Good for the price for how much I paid for it considering other recording software prices. And it does what i needed and easy to use. I'll upgrade to the 8 in no time.

I have to say, I needed something to allow me to mix in personal instruments and vocals as well as programed instruments and this software had it all. MUCH more than I expected. I have been recommending this to all my friends who work with music. WELL worth the money!

I use this to record demo tracks and it's exactly what I was looking for. Why deal with the learning curve of Pro Tools? This software is straightforward and everything sounds great.

Good price good product only one thing I didn't lik no MP3 mode

I saw this program on a clearance display and thought that for the $5 it cost, I wouldn't lose any sleep if it didn't perform. I have to say that I was quite surprised! There's a little bit of a learning curve with it, but this is true of many recording studio programs. I am quite happy with it so far and I would recommend it to any musician.

A great gift for my nephew! He's 13 and loves playing around with music!

Bought this then upgraded online. Using 7 as training wheels, since I'm a newb. Easy to use. Fun too.

The product works extremely well and well worth the money and it's easy to learn .

Software is very user friendly and intuitive. It is fairly comprehensive without being overly cumbersome, which can be hard to find.
