A good quality music concert Blu-ray, that also has a CD included.

ACT 1 is the first concert dvd/bluray release from Tarja. It contains a amazing performance recorded over 2 nights in Argentina. The exotic setting and venue provides a true backdrop for Tarja's cinematic hard rock and classical music. Backed by a powerful band, Tarja's vocal and stage presence is excellent. The bluray contains a full concert featuring songs from both of her solo releases plus a few cover songs including one from her former band Nightwish. The bonus features contain songs recorded the 2nd night and a lengthy interview with the singer herself. The only downside about this release is that it does not contain lossless audio. This bluray is highly recommended for all Tarja/Nightwish fans or any fans of hard rock.

this was a great suprise!stunning performance! beautiful intimate theater setting....an audio and visual pleasure!....reminds me of the group Renaissance beautiful classically trained female singer with hard rock band...this combo works great with this talented group...will look for more of Tarja Turunen's work.
