I'm not going to review the movie. You either like it or don't. I wish Carl Weathers was given more chances like this. Anyway, I'm just glad the Blu-ray is back in print . It's the same disc from 2013, but now under the Warner Archive line. Get it if you're a fan.

"Hot, hotter, hottest" is one of the movie quotes. It has that 80s action movie flair and humor too.

The blu ray is a nice transfer. The sound mix is the original stereo mix with no enhanced sound mixes or any special features to mention about, but I'll say it does seem to look a bit better than the previous entry that was released in 2013 with not as much grain with the transfer.

Carl Weathers stars as Action Jackson in the 1988 blaxploitation film. The story has Detroit cop Sergeant Jackson, who was demoted because of his consisted demolition stunts, seeks to stop a power hungry auto magnate who's systematically eliminating his competition.

The movie is corny, absurd, and over the top and that's exactly what makes it awesome! It takes itself serious, which is completely impossible, and it makes the over the top action all the better.
