I bought these cause I needed TV cable in the back yard. This does the job. easy to install and there is no delay with sound or picture. Plug and play with no need for cable. Great Item.

It's a great product in principle. It provides a nice solution to extend your cable tv to a remote room where running coax is impractical. The claimed range of 100 feet is probably only for line of sight transmission. My application was to serve an upstairs TV, about 30 feet distant, thru typical wood frame walls and floor. Reception is marginal with occasional pixelization and blurry picture. The instructions suggest moving the receiver closer to the transmitter. That, of course, is not possible for me. Instructions do not offer any suggestions about aiming the devices. Which sides of the transmitter and receiver should face each other? Where place these boxes to optimize range? Don't know. I recommend this product for short ranges only.

Great substitute for another expensive cable box..

So far this item is working great. The picture quality from my Apple TV to my projector in the yard is pretty good. I would definitely recommend this to others

Bought one of these to test out for broadcasting from my receiver in the front of my large living room to the projector in the back, and have been very pleased! I'm only streaming video, audio is handled by the receiver, but seems to be really good FullHD (1080p) quality sent through! Occasionally when firing up my system I'll have to unplug/plug in the receiver unit to get it to connect to the transmitter properly, but once the link is up is good to go! I really didn't want to run cable as I have no attic space there so was gonna be something ugly , so was very pleased that this fit my needs!

I purchased this unit after my local Comcast installer wanted to drill holes through my exterior walls and run cable around the outside of my house....not happeneing. The only other option was having it wall fished and that was a huge project. We purchased the first set and they work perfect for at a distance of across the room. I also have a detached garage that I spend time in and wanted to get my cable out there. That is about 75 feet from where my inside cable box is located. The set up was a struggle because the IR kit never worked. I think it has something to do with the cable box. Anyway, the Xfinity remote app solved that once it was set up. The picture quality at that distance is a bit hit or miss. I normally tune to non Hi Def channels to lower the strain on the signal. However, so far they are doing what I want them to do and I didn't have to get an underground cable installed to the other building.

Occasionally the device only transfers the audio, not video.

It works ok in general. Will use it again for an extra tv

Great way to add outdoor tv and have flexibility on where we use it without a lot of wiring.

This system works great except sometimes it freezes. then i have to wait for it to restart.

Sometimes requires the main TV to be turned on before there is any reception.

We spend a bit of time on the patio. This unit allowed us to connect a TV without going to the trouble of wiring outlets at the patio TV location. Works for us as we have line of site to the transmitting TV cable box in the great room so we can control channels.

This sure beat having to pay for another directv box. I wanted a tv in the garage but did not have an outlet or a box. The unit has been hard to start up twice but other than that it has been great with no additional monthly charges

The bulky cable box used to sit under the tv and everything was just so crowded and messy feeling.. I had my doubts about the product, however I knew I could return it if it was not for me. I was concerned about the mixed reviews. In my personal expericane it has been great I have not once had any issues with it and the best part.. The bulky cable box is in another room and out of sight! The channels change without issues and there is no lagging. Love this thing! Best investment for the family room ever!!!

Works reasonably well, but often when receiving TV is turned on you often only get sound, no picture. Turning TV off then on again fixes, but may need to be done a few times. Very expensive. If I could do it again I'd probably pay for another cable box instead.

I was headed to the store to pick up an antenna. I happened upon this product. I got a free TV buying a car this Christmas but I just wanted to put a TV in another room without hooking up cable. Although it just shows what I would be watching on the main TV it was what I wanted. I ended up putting it in the dining room so we can now eat in the dining room and still watch a show. Perfect. Connection is wonderful. If you have both TVs on at the same time one will notice a lag in the timing from one tv to another. All in all it works great for us.

Bought a new tv that didn't allow for coax connection. Instead of running expensive cable throughout the store, we found this. The downside was the slight delay in picture and sound. Picture looks good. We just turn the sound off on this tv to avoid the echo effect.

Good for the value does the job instructions are hard to understand.
