I use this product to send video from my security camera systems dvr box hidden in my basement. I was skeptical at its effectiveness. But To my surprise, it works very well. The transmitter is in the basement. The receiver is on the first floor. I would estimate the total distance between floors to be under 20 ft. The Video feed streams consistently without much hiccups. I’m satisfied with the item

I recently put up a large screenhouse in my backyard and I wanted a way to have a TV in it for sports get togethers. I knew that this technology was available so I went to Best Buy. The sales person there was very informative and helped me pick the Actiontec. It was easy to set up and the infrared connection allows changing of the channels remotely. My cable box is in the house and the screenhouse is separate. The only drawback is that when I remove the receiver outside and leave the transmitter connected I lose my cable video. I wanted to leave this in place but it doesn't work. I have to remove the transmitter.

Easy to set up. I don't use the remote feature. TV & set top box are in the same room, about 10 feet apart, but I can't run a cable. No difference between the Actiontec and direct cable audio and video connections. Minor issue is if I leave the STB on overnight, the transmitter & receiver lose connection. But its easily fixed by re-cycling the power on the receiver, as the instructions indicate. Would buy again.

Easy set up, connected no problem. Using it for 3 weeks and no problems. The only thing I'm still trying to figure out, how the cable remote connects and change the channels using the cable remote.

Very easy to install and work well, if you have a Fios just need to plug the reader at the right side of the channel screen, you will see it right there.

I has a room that needed to have a cable connection in it but there was no access through the attic. Pulling cable would have messed up a new attic insulation job. The Actiontec connection was good for my application. I used the cable box in my bedroom as a source and sent the signal wirelessly to the spare room in the garage area. The Actiontec set provided a 1080P signal that can be controlled in the destination room. Quite handy. I find that after periods of inactivity, the transmitter needs to be power-off reset. Works fine after that. Good product.,

I purchased this system to replace another much cheaper version I bought from Best Buy in 2016 that used RCA cables. The cheaper version still works but it makes a lot of noise when I you used the microwave and wasn't HD. The new system uses HDMI Cables and the picture quality on the 2nd TV is crisp and in HD. It's a dramatic difference in picture quality between the two systems and the microwave doesn't affect the new system.

Being able to hide all the wires and systems in a electronics closet in the hallway and just using the IR to transmit gives such a clean cut look to all the tvs and that def makes the wife happy. Let football season play on :)

Setup it up in 15 minutes. Make sure you check your signal strength after the unit is setup. A couple of times the channels were pixelated. Remote response can be a little slow at times.

Works great. We use it to watch TV outdoors on our lanai. Houses is FL are made of concrete making running wires difficult. We also have a second which we use in our bedroom. Drawback 1 - you must have 2 transmitters and 2 receivers to connect 2 different additional tv's as each transmitter and receiver communicate exclusively with each other. Drawback 2 - If you have one cable box you must disconnect one transmitter and connect the other one to the cable box. Splitters do not work. Drawback 3 - when using only one cable box, all tv's must watch the same channel. If these drawbacks work for you as they do for mme, it works as designed.
