This is working well so far. Running through a receiver definitely helps since you can change the audio delay.

I needed a way to run a ceiling mounted projector without the expense of a long cable run. I've used the Actiontec TV wireless moules before and was very happy with the results. Nothing to pair, just plug the receiver into the projector (or your monitor), plug in the power packs, connect you DVD or blu ray player or PC/laptop into the transmitter and your done. That simple.

I've tried other systems however, the Actiontec unit proved to be much more reliable. We're actually using multiple units to transmit ip camera pictures as well as tivo.

Haven't had the chance to hook up this yet, as I am waiting for a garage to be built with a man cave. This will save me from running cable to the garage. Can't wait to see it work.

I am using this to get Cable TV to an outside patio TV. The distance is about 30 ft and through a single brick wall. I was shocked at the stability and great picture quality, almost indistinguishable from hard wired. This new solution is based on 5 GHz Wi-Fi and is much more reliable. If you are able to get a 5GHz Wi-Fi signal to your location then this will probably work for you.

These things work exactly as advertised. Easy installation and use. The delay introduced by the link is noticeable, but certainly not an issue. The hardest part was getting the IR Blaster aligned properly for the remote to control the cable box—and that was not hard at all. Definitely recommended!

I brought in a home theater guy to mount a TV on my fireplace and he wanted $1500 to run wires through the brick! Then the cable guy told me about this product. For $200, we are wirelessly streaming to out TV over the fireplace without any loss of quality.

Needed to connect satellite input to TV remotely and across the room. I have structured wiring in my house, but setup would have been a hassle and required a coax-HDMI converter. This device allowed me to easily bypass that, and set up the IR control for my receiver remotely next to the TV.

I was a little skeptical in buying this but have a cable outlet almost 50 feet from the location of the tv and had difficulty moving the outlet without hiring a professional. The wireless transmitter has solved that problem without any loss in resolution in the signal. It works flawlessly and no more ugly cables. Set up took only about five minutes. Great product

Works, then it doesn't. Drops signal frequently. Needs to be rebooted each time. Very limited range. Not a good value. Reflects poorly on Best Buy.

I really wanted it to work, but the technology is not there yet. It had a conflict with my DirecTV High def receiver and my Visio led TV. When I changed channels on the receiver, it often scrambled the TV picture or it went blank. To get the picture back, I had to unplug the Actiontec transmitter and receiver. I exchanged it. The second one was a bit more stable when I switched channels, but overlays, like captions and news broadcast banners, were unstable, wavy and hard to read. I do not recommend it unless Actiontec can fix the firmware.
