My TV is on a concrete slab about 25-30 feet from the transmitter, which is in the basement. The reception is very good and the picture and sound are in sync. Sometimes, though, the transmitter and receiver do not connect, requiring unplugging from power one or both devices and then plugging them back in. The phone tech support from Actiontec is very good, responsive, patient, and helpful.

Nifty little device that lets you watch TV anywhere inside or outside as long as you are in range. Down side is you can't change the channel except from the base TV

No issues with this at all. Was able to go from a Direct TV receiver to an outside projector to watch a football game out on the patio. Worked great.

I needed to get a HDMI connection from my cable settop box in a media room to a TV on my outside patio. After doing some research and looking at reviews I found the Actiontec MyWirelesTV2 devices. I was a bit skeptical that going from inside my house thru a brick wall that I would actually get reception. Plugged these devices in and after a bit of synching I got a great picture on the TV. They work great. No loss of signal at all. The only thing that I have to do now and then is when I turn on the TV, I sometimes need to try a couple of times to get synching but once it is synched it keeps working. Highly recommend if you need to get connection where you don't have an HDMI connection.

I had the first generation at my weekend home and it worked very well, but this second generation works even better. It has better range and doesn't crash as often as gen one. The only thing that Actiontec needs to do is make available additional receivers to piggyback off the original transmitter. According to their website they are in the process of addressing this issue, however, as of January 1st it's not listed as available.

I would recommend this to anybody who does not want to run wires. I bought this unit to use in a church as a three-point system. Two TVs at the front and a projector all mirroring information from a computer in the rear of the church. The products work well, the connection is excellent even after the church fills up, and it is easy to pair units. I have three receivers to one transmitter.

I put a new tv in the kitchen and didn't want to get another converter box from the internet/tv company and the hassle of more wires and more holes in the walls and crawling thru the attic. I had a tv and box in the garage at the treadmill that was idle most of the time and close to the kitchen (about 10ft max thru the walls) the install instructions are very good and clear. The product just works..no problem

I needed to share a cable TV signal with an adjacent room without a cable connection...I didn't want to pay for an additional cable drop and a monthly charge for an additional cable box. This device allows me to share the signal perfectly. No issues with the picture or sound, great picture. LOVE IT!!!

I bought this to keep from running an HDMI through brick and 35 feet away from my components. It worked well for about 20 minutes. After that, the picture switched between fuzzy and clear. Also the audio was about half a second off. Half a second doesn't sound too bad, but it's very annoying. If you're slinging a signal to like a patio or another room, it would be good if the signal would stay strong. However, sling audio and video, not just one.

The Actiontec wireless transmitter and receiver worked better than I could have hoped and saved me a ton of work if I would have had to try a fish cables through my finished basement walls and ceiling. I have all my home theater equipment set up in a utility roughly 18 feet from TV. When I finished the basement years ago component and S video were the cutting technology. I got along fine with component video for a long time but recently updated with a new blue ray player and faced the prospect of having to cut into walls to run a long HDMI cable to the TV. The Actiontec wireless transmitter and receiver did the trick with no wiring required. It was easy to set up and the picture is perfect. No delays, no buffering. The picture is perfect. I don't know how far the range would go but from 20 feet though a wall, this product is worth every penny paid.

the set up was easy! As long as you follow the steps exactly the link up is effortless. It solved a huge problem I had connecting a TV without cable access which would have required an unsightly cable run and box. It took a couple of resets to make a good connection but know after 4 weeks it still works great!

I have lived in my house for 9 years now and only have one outlet jack to hook up my TV, now with the wireless transmitter and receiver I can put my TV anywhere in my living room. It was easy to set up and the starting guide guides you through the process. I was impressed after I got it set up and started using it. Thanks Best Buy !!

It was easy to set up and worked right away but then quit and I had to recycle the power on both units. I called tech support and they answered quickly and walked me through the process to get it working again. I've had to do this three times in two months. In spite of that, it beats tearing wallboard out and replacing HDMI cables!

Bought this because our basement has three rooms and one has a cable outlet. I didn’t want to run another line or pay Verizon so after months of searching this showed up. It was on sale so I gave it a shot and it worked the first time. 1080p resolution is good and since it’s cable that’s fine. It’s better than sling box. I have no complaints!

The cable provider did not have the "Hopper" equipment and the prewired condo did not have a cable outlet where we wanted the TV. We would have had to run a wire around the baseboard for about 60 feet to get to the TV. This solved the problem and works great. No loss of picture quality.
