Definitely better than running a cable. I have the receiver placed 3 rooms away from the transmitter and it's not a direct line of sight, and get a consistent & clear picture. Occasional dropout from interference & once in awhile needs a re-boot, but otherwise works great.

Usually delivers a quality HD picture. Installed to place TV where it was inconvenient to to run a cable. Cable service box and transmitter in same room opposite from wall where TV located, but problems occasionally occur: sound not in sync with picture, no sound at all or a black screen with onscreen message: seeking transmitter. All glitches are resolved by rebooting the transmitter, but this may take a a minute or so.

    Actiontec - MyWirelessTV2 Wireless Video - Good

The transmitter is in the living room and the receiver is in the master bedroom on the same floor. The distance isn't all that much but the number of walls in between is a challenge for the unit. I have had to reboot the unit only once in a month because of a loss of audio. Sometimes the picture freezes and all we do is turn off/on the TV and it's OK. It works great 99.9% of the time - I'd buy again.

Product does OK. Easy setup and pretty easy to having it going with good picture and sound. The one occasional flaw is you have to reset, as it gets out of sync between Source, source TV and target TV and Target receiver. Little pain from time to time.

Neat Technology - Signal can have interference

First of all this was very easy to hook up. Second of all it was pretty neat to see the signal transferred. To be fair, I might have been expecting too much from this. My father-in-law has a projection TV that would only play from his Blue-Ray player. He didn't have any other source run to the unit when he had it installed. We tried to use this to get signal from his main floor TV to the basement theater with the projection TV. The quality of the signal wasn't the best for running through his projector. I don't know if there were other items using the same frequency to mess up the transmission, or if there is just that much in the floor between his main floor and the basement. Either way, it was enough loss to warrant him paying for the cable company to put another box in the basement to feed the projection TV. Perhaps a smaller TV would have been better and less demanding for high quality signal. I would recommend this to a friend, but with a caution regarding the size of the receiving TV.

This product did not work for me since I have an RV and had to use old receivers to get my dish to work. Be prepared that you need state of the art equipment to use these. I downgraded to wired splitters since I can. This product would work fine to repeat a screen in two rooms if your equipment is state of the art.

I traded in a different brand product to try this one out. I am much happier with this one since it actually works without interrupting the signal every 10 minutes. It has been perfect with each component about 20 feet from each other and I haven't tried it in any other setup bc this is all I need it for. Works perfectly and consistently.

We purchased the units to transmit satellite TV programming to a bedroom that was not wired with coax. one of the great things about these is that you do not need to have the transmitter connected to a TV, just the video source. In our case we connected it to the disk receiver and the units IR extender allowed the remote to work perfectly even though the satellite receiver as upstairs. Now that said, the bad side is that while the satellite receiver was upstairs we had to position it in the hallway rather than in the room it was originally in for the signal to be strong enough to work correctly in the downstairs bedroom, We made it work in our environment, but it wasn't ideal.

We bought a small TV for our morning sitting area and didn't have a cable connection. This product allowed us to "clone" the bedroom TV and watch HD TV without a cable. It was quick and easy to setup. It would have received 5 stars but I haven't figured out how to get the channel changer to work yet so I must go to the bedroom to change the channel. Must be a user issue.

Good picture quality but has a half second delay in sound. Creates a strange echo situation if you can hear both tv's. Occasionally needs to be unplugged to reset because it freezes. However overall it does what it says it will do and I can know watch the game in the kitchen while cooking.

This product only does 1/2 of what it says... It is wireless HDMI, but good luck changing the channels from the TV if it is in a different room. My tv & receiver are only about 15 feet apart & I have followed the directions to a tee and still have to go into the other room & change the channels...

My dilemma was that i had an HDMI cable that was snaked through the wall. The plug end broke and I didn't want to have to snake it again. I went to Best Buy and located this device. I went home and installation took less than ten minutes. Instructions are easy to read and setup is nearly self explanatory. All cables you will need are included. Within minutes i was streaming video from my laptop to the projector. I couldn't see any lag between the audio and video, even on 1080p60 youtube streams. This device is perfect for the job.

This device is very easy to set up. No drivers to install. Response time is good. Other similar product we tried had a long delay between screen refreshes. We bought two and will probably buy another. We use to show the laptop screen on TV without long cables.
