    Easy to setup

This HDMI receiver plugged in and setup with my Sanyo Smart TV in just a few minutes then it was easy to use with Android 6 tablet and Windows 10 tablet. It does not work with my Straight Talk Samsung J3 with Android 6. It also would not work with Google Movies and Amazon Video but great with YouTube and casting my desktop. My Internet connection is slow 50 mbps and if I have a couple of devices running that degrades the picture. I paid $49 and think that was a good price for the device.

It started with me looking for something to mirror my Mac computer to my Samsung tv and the Best Buy salesperson suggesting this device. I reiterated that I had an Macintosh computer and he swore this device would work with anything...my bad for believing him :( Luckily, we have another device that runs Windows and used that. Works perfectly every time and hasn't kicked us out once. If anything, we have to refresh the computer :/

I've had my Samsung Galaxy 7 for several months, and was very upset to find out that you can't just hook it up with the hdmi cord, and watch Netflix & such from phone. This let's you! It's awesome, just plug it in to the wall and push smart view. SO EASY and the best part is your phone doesn't need to be hooked up at all.

    Absolute Waste of Time

Bought this with the hopes of being able to screen content from my laptop to my television so I could have ease of access without having to move my laptop around the room constantly as well as mess with power cables and HDMI cables. This worked great for one whole day on my Windows 10 laptop. I had read reviews about how these easily burn out if left plugged in for months. So once I was done watching a few TV shows I unplugged the Screenbeam from the wall. I tried again the next day and my laptop would not pair with it. I luckily have an HDMI port built into my laptop so I plugged it into that to see if perhaps it needed a firmware update. Though it kept disconnecting from my laptop while attempting to do that which proved this unit had already broken after 4 hours of useage. Absolute garbage and headache for me. No need to waste your time here. Trust the reviews of people that have had it burn out and stay away. I can also confirm this unit gets incredibly hot to the touch after a few minutes of being plugged in. I opened mine up since there's no going back for me and found they crammed 2 huge metal power ports needed to convert the incoming data to the HDMI on a tiny thin circuit board.

I bought this device and it did not work with my LG Stylo 4 or LG Stylo 5 or My sons Motorola phone. It DID work with my old Samsung A20 great since the A20 has "Smart View". Also works with my husbands Samsung S7. Over all good purchase. Just wish it worked with all phone types. Mostly use it to watch Netflix from my phone since we to not have wifi or high speed internet at home.

We have 2 of these and plan to buy 3 more. We live in the country and don't have unlimited internet, so we use our phones to stream with. These do very well. Occasionally I will have to push the reset button because the sound isn't there, but it's a quick fix.

Plugged it into the TV and power outlet, opened Smart View on my Samsung Note 5, selected the ScreenBeam device, and the screen on my phone was displayed on the TV. Done. Very simple and no problems.

This little gadget makes it easy to show whats on your tablet or phone up on your BIG tv. Download movies on your phone and no matter where you go you can let everybody see it on the tv. Easy hook up, easy install.

Bought to connect my Minidroid and/or my LG tablet to TV set. Neither device would see the SB unless physically touching it. After a trip to BestBuy where it worked fine with the Minidroid I looked for sources of interference at home. Turned off the Leapfrog AV transmitter and receiver and the ScreenBeam2 works as advertised. Not giving 5 stars because of lack of meaningful documentation.

I needed to use my smartphone to do a presentation using a projector. I needed this item to make a link between my smartphone/internet and my projector via bluetooth. It worked! However, slow connection is awkward, but has nothing to do with this item.

I used to have an old version of this product kind of and the person at Best Buy was able to understand what I was talking about with the poor explanation I was giving to him and showed me this product and has worked great. I am so happy I was finally able to find something like this so my bf was see something on the TV while I look for differents thing on my laptop at the same time.

I bought this from the Tysons Corner store a while back given the recommendation of the store rep. I had my reservations given the $50 price, but figured I could bring it back. After I hooked it up, there was too much lag. I have a fast Fios connection and this would lag every minute or two. Save your money and buy something higher-end. Also, BB would not take it back claiming there is software on it. See ya Best Buy.

This seems to work fine, I had a small tablet that had a dinky broken connector so I needed the Bluetooth capability.
