This bypasses the newer phones programing that prevents using a hdmi converter to view your phone on the tv. Your phone will drain about 25 percent per hour on an S7, Depending on your charger it may or may not drain the phone when charging. But it works well and you don't need a smart tv to watch stuff from your phone on the tv.

Plug into HDMI port and USB port (for power), when it's ready to connect, use Android app (widget) "Miracast Shortcut" to connect and your phone is mirrored. The sound goes silent on the phone. Away from your home with its premium channels, at another home/hotel without premium channels? No problem, watch premium content on the TV for free using phone apps HBO Go or SHO Anytime or whatever media app using your main home's cable provider login. Or watch any video that's on your phone or streamed (e.g., YouTube). I love it. One of my best purchases this year (I keep it at a vacation home that has a minimal cable subscription).

Very easy to install and setup and would definitely recommend for remote access to TV devices from windows computers (not mac compatible)

Works Perfectly! I had an LG V30 and recently traded in for Samsung A52. Other reviews showed older Samsung devices. This worked easily with A52 and took seconds to sync. Best part..NO WIFI to have it work. I cut the cord few years ago and just use my mobile data. Also used it during thunderstorms and windy days and still kept great signal. This Also works with YouTube, Netflix, watching videos on my phone.

The staff at Best Buy was extremely helpful and knowledgeable on this product. It's easy to setup and even works outside the U.S.

I purchased this adapter to be able to mirror my phone onto any tv the has an hdmi input This only mirrors android phones This is an hdmi plug-in and wall charger You can watch on your tv most apps and music apps with this adapter ie: Hulu, Netflix, pandora.. This doesn’t work for “I” Phone, Macs products Some apps have a blocker within the app To prevent mirroring

My only complaint is how hot my phone gets! Works exactly as it should... You have to have a good consistent signal!

I have a computer that I use for business with clients. I wanted an easy way to show clients my computer screen without having to share my space. I bought the Screen Beam and plugged it into my office TV. Just a quick setup and one click on the computer, and all of sudden my computer is displayed on the TV. Really cool! It's so easy that I could just unplug it and plug it into a different screen without any problem, so I could move from the office to the living room to the bedroom. Theres no screen delay at all. Love it!

It is a novel idea, but it does lack in connection. Must have a strong internet connection.

This is a bit finicky to set up, but once you realize how, it's very simple. It has a little bit of lag to it and the picture quality could be better, but overall it is about what I expected. It is definitely worth the money for what it is. I would absolutely repurchase this if it were to get lost or break.

Always wanted to beam stuff from my phone to my TV, butbmy TV did not have tyhat capability. This let me do that.

.... recommend as a way to cut cable and to make your BIG SCREEN the screen to view your pics on ... or read text or email .... you tube ... netflix .... with this device , you have no need in most cases to ever spend another dime and watch near anything ..... if you TV is not a smart TV ... this will allow you to mirror your device to the TV .... just had a very good friend ask me to get them one after seeing how easily it works .....

At first it seemed to work pretty good. Sometimes the "connect" tab on the computer seems to freeze up and I can only see 90% of my laptop screen. I htink the devise works correctly and the issue maybe my laptop setup. Pretty easy to install.

Certain applications are able to prevent phone from mirroring/ casting. For all of the others, it works great.

Great technology concept that I was looking forward to using but I could due to compatibility issues. It was hard to attempt to install until I finally contacted the company's who advised that it is not compatible with Windows 7. Products that no longer have existing drivers should not remain on the market.

I have a TV that isn't a Smart TV and I wanted a way to stream content from my phone to the television. I searched and found this device and I'm very pleased with it. The connection was flawless and extremely simple. Great product.

I use this to project from the computer wirelessly to an HDMI equipped TV or monitor. It works just like a wired connection to a second screen. For some reason, it does not hookup from Dell laptop at all, probably a setting I haven't found. Dropped rating from 5 to 4 stars because of this.

A little challenging to set up as the instructions are not all relevant to my version of androis but works great after set up

It is a good product to have in case you cannot find heavy duty switchers

Does not work with iphone or any other phone except samsung. But mirrors clearly without wifi. Play movies, youtube, music, record video or pictures from phones camera while it is showing on tv.
