We used to run a 20 foot HDMI wire to laptop so we could show laptop on TV. Now we operate wirelessly. Their tech support was poor as far as helping fix firewall blocking and even suggested I return item to Best Buy. My IT guy was able to tweak firewall settings and make it work.

This device worked perfectly for me to mirror my screen from one tv to the other.

great at mirroring wia wifi 1 tv to your laptop.. only issue is, you can only have one of them mirrored to a laptop at any given time. But picture was clear. If you only need to mirror 1 tv to a laptop it does work.. If you need to mirror 2 or more tvs not for you,

I was traveling in my Rv and didn't want to use my cell as hotspot to watch my RV Tv. There where campgrounds without internet and the tv satellite signal was poor. Since my company cell offers free streaming from Netflix and other companies, I decided to buy this product to mirror whatever I see in my cell in my Rv Tv. It works awesome, I didn't have to use my hotspot to watch my tv in family and I didn't need outside internet!

Todays cellphones such as my galaxy s7 and many others are ditching MHL in favor if wireless streaming. Well i have a pioneer 4000NEX that doesnt have gps and at the time i had an htc m7 that did screen mirroring through the MHL cable. Sadly i got a galaxy s7 and MHL was no longer an option, but i heard about screen beam. I plugged it into my 4000 nex via the HDMI input and wow. Now i can use the gps on my phone, surf the net, watch you tube/movies in my car. Awesome product. I got mine on sale and was cheaper than amazon. It takes a little while to load when you get into your car, but if you are like me and like to customize your ride with awesome tech than you cant go wrong with this little device.

I have an older non-smart tv with an HDMI port. I wanted to "mirror" my LG G8 phone screen onto the tv. The ScreenBeam Mini 2 worked perfectly. There is occasionally some lag and freezing of video. Other than that I totally recommend it!!

The ScreenBeam mini 2 works great for the one that wants a nice solution for cord cutting. The picture quality is good for a wireless AV system. Works great with my Galaxy S10 cell phone with an unlimited data plan TV is possible without a cable subscription and works without a wi-fi network that’s what sets this product apart from many other streaming options out there. I would recommend this product for that reason.

I got this to use with my laptop on our large screen tv in the living room to show picks and home movies from my home server through my tablet. I quickly began using it to make the TV my monitor full time. Love sitting in my recliner and working on the 50". I was surprised when my Windows 10 phone was able to project to it as well! So now I can work from my phone on the TV and still use it as my phone. I don't need my tablet. I can use this anywhere there's a TV with HDMI input and a USB port or an electrical outlet!

I love this product because I can look at scriptural Broadcasts from JW.org. I can listen to my weekly Bible reading. I can see some of the experiences of Jehovah's Witnesses all over the world. I can look at Biblical videos, listen to Kingdom songs, Bible dramas, etc.. I also enjoy reading about the experiences of Jehovah's Witnesses helping people to come to know Jehovah God, and build a personal relationship with him. All online at JW.org. I thank Jehovah for this wonderful technology. It's great.

I bought it to send items to the TV movies were OK except for the restreaming it did to catch up with the movie.

For android phones to mirror to any tv that has HDMI. Without the need of internet. Very easy setup and operation.

This is not a bad product, inexpensive. Does exactly what it says it does. easy to set up easy to use. Share your device's screen with any HDMI input Display. I'm currently using to screencast my phone to my in-dash DVD player.

Bought this to display a PPT presentation for my daughter's baby shower. Worked great, ran a laptop and displayed on a large monitor. Sometimes, you have to try more than once for the computer to find the device, but it always finds it..

Bought this to use when I travel for work. Alot of hotels have flat screen tv's, but don't have smart tv's. This works without wifi, so I can screen mirror or cast to tv from phone or tablet. I can watch streaming shows on a regular tv, instead of on my phone or tablet. Works great.

The Actiontec Screenbeam works! It works great- it actually works better than great! It connects to my samsung phone and mirrors the screen of my vizio tv or computer projector that the Actiontec is plugged into.

This device would not work with my phone. Had to return. Was told that they get returned a lot. So if you want to cast to your TV without WI Fi it’s worth trying it out as you can return if not compatible with your phone.

Using this on a non-smart tv. does not need a internet connection like a chromecast dongle. pretty handy when your internet goes down a few hours and you want to stream some movie services from your phone to your tv. just plug in, set the input on your tv to what HDMI port you plugged it in on and swipe down on your samsung phone and turn on smart view. pretty easy nothing to download.

I had just moved into a new place and bought my first big screen TV. I didn't get sucked into the cable TV, and only opted for Internet/wireless service. I really wanted to be able to display any of my 5 devices to this screen, but thought I was probably dreaming. This was the last thing on a shelf, all by itself, and when I read what it did I asked a representative and he said "yea, it should work. We haven't gotten any back." Lo and behold - he was right, and I think it might have cost around $30.

I bought this to display items from my Samsung phone to my T.V. It was easy to use and works well, I simply plug it into my T.V. and hit the screen mirroring option on my phone. It was a little expensive at $49.99, but much better quality than a similar device I've previously bought.

It works well for steaming. I was surprised how hot it became after a very short period of time streaming. I'm only going to use it on a limited basis. It works well, but the heat make me nervous about using it for long periods of time.
