This wireless receiver works great for someone in the country who has no access to WIFI at home. You do not need a router or a designated TV to use it.

After hooking up it worked but Overheated my phone in 20 minutes and drained the battery even though my phone was plugged in and charging. It may be because I have an older smartphone but wanted to share anyway.

I purchased this for my windows 10 phone to utilize the Continuum feature which turns the phone into almost a computer on a big screen. It worked great not only can I mirror what's on my phone wirelessly on the screen but I can also work on email just like I was working on it from a laptop by using a Bluetooth keyboard. Works fantastic for windows 10 phones and I believe it also works for android.

Wife had hip surgery, needed to broadcast laptop to the tv while she was laid up in bed so she could work from home. It did the trick, a little quirky at first, but once connection was established it did what it was supposed to.

I had to change my phone so that this product was compatible. Once complete, I have not had a minute's trouble with the device. I works perfectly with my cell phone. Not having internet services, I am still able to watch programs on my phone and project them to my television. Amazing technology!! I'm glad that I purchased it.

I am using a Ulephone Armor 9 for it’s flir capabilities to check for bad components on circuit boards. It was hard to see the heat signatures on the screen when the boards were Laying horizontally on a table. Needed to have an external monitor to make this easier. This product synced right up to the Ulephone. That is the good news. Now for the bad. It took trying 4 different monitors for this to work. This products default resolution settings are so high that 3 of my monitors wouldn’t work with it. My 4th one did but I use it for a digital microscope. With some research I found that you are supposed to be able to lower it’s resolution through an app you can download called screenstream utility. The version for windows 10 and 8 will not download. Tried several computers and networks. The one for android phones will download and install. But will close as soon as you open it. Even if you do get a list showing your screen stream mini 2 device. It will close as soon as you tap on it. This software is also meant to be used to update your mini 2. But you will never be able to. Bottom line. It works fine so long as you are connecting it to a FHD display of at least 60hz. It does not auto negotiate resolution with the display of your monitor or tv. It tells your tv what it wants and if your tv cannot do it. It won’t work. This means no hdmi TVs using 720p will work. I tried it on 4 monitors and 2 TVs. Only the full HD tv and the Full HD monitor worked with it. Side note. For those using the Ulefone Armor 9. Ulefone’s website states that miracast doesn’t show the desktop of the phone when video casting. Good news. I was able to see my desktop of my phone just fine. Also, there was no lag as I did things on my phones screen and what was displayed on my monitor with this mini 2.

this works great on older tvs with out this feature added. If your an apple user this does not work with your phone but since i have an s7 edge this works great and it allows me to take my direct tv where ever im at.

Its easy to use and it works great. Now I have unlimited access to whats on my phone

I have a data plan on my smartphone, and,being on the go all the time away from home,I decided not to have an internet subscription at home,and,I am using this magical mini screenbeam wireless receiver instead ,reflecing directly movies etc.from my phone to any TV

This was a great purchase. My company had recently purchased a big screen tv to utilize for presentations etc. We had chose not to hard wire the tv, so I needed a method to access the tv wirelessly. I consulted with an associate and this was recommended. It works great, and as described. The only downside is you have to be connected to wifi. This was explained prior, so not a big deal.

Totall love the screen beam. Picture and videos are clear. Easy to use.

this is the best mirroring device i've found. it works with all of our mobile devices, every time. and it's cordless, which means no puzzling out adapters anymore.
