It uses Bluetooth to connect from your phone to the device onto HDMI with no long wires connect to your phone. The picture looks great on the tv. If you have Netflix or Hulu on your phone but no internet or a smart tv and tried of looking at a small screen this is for you.

I would recommend it if yu knew it would work with your devices and did not plan on updating any time soon otherwise there is better options availible at Best Buy!

Not Compatible with Apple/Mac

Nonetheless the set up was easy, but you have to charge the usb/hdmi part so that is a little inconvenient.
