Skylanders is great. Skylanders Trap Team is awesome. Part of the fun is trapping your enemies to use later...the more traps, the more villians, the more fun!

If you bought Skylanders Trap Team on any console, then im sure you quickly realized that you were rather limited with how many enemies you could trap in the standard 2 traps that came with the game. So needless to say, to get maximum enjoyment out of this great title, you're going to need a trap of each element. The Earth trap like all the other traps operate the same thing. You simply place it in the portal to trap an Earth based villain when prompted and that is it. Six bucks per trap is a little steep in my opinion, but you can get them in 3 packs for $15 to save a little. It also helps if you're a Gamers Club Unlocked member as it really brings the cost down to a reasonable level.

Purchased this along with a Skylander figure for my 4 year old son. Works as expected. He would be the better reviewer as to how well it functions as a trap in the actual game itself. He seems happy with it so as far as I'm concerned it's great!

My 6 year old loves Trap Team. We needed traps and Best Buy had the best selection of different traps. Other stores had one or two choices. My son enjoys using the traps to catch the bad guys and we have not been disappointed! A+

Purchased this for my son for his Skylanders game. He enjoys it. I have noticed that the plastic pieces can be easily broken. Does there really have to be a different version of the same characters for each new game that comes out?

This was a necessary part of playing Trap Team. I like that you don't have to buy ALL of the Tech traps, you can put more than one foe (of the same element) in the single trap.

Lots of villains to trap and play as = Lots of fun and traps to purchase. Not a cheap venture with purchasing traps, but worth the money. A unique gaming experience!

My son loves skylanders so this was a special treat for him for doing good on a report card. works fine and now he can trap some of his favorite skylanders!

My son is a skylander nut. great if this is the only game they love. interchangable giant parts make new characters and add on mini characters are a great addition. the traps are great to use the villians trapped in the crystal traps in the game.

This trap allows one to trap any earth bad skylanders. It is neat and works well. There are some powerful earth bad guys so this is nice to trap them and use them. With that said. It is a pain to have to keep buying stuff for this game

This was for my grandkids who both play Skylanders often. They loved it and they keep thanking me for getting it for them.

Price and selection at our best bet is great the kid love to go the because they alway have the sky landers he wants.

Definitely want more than one earth trap. Keep one open and one for chomp chest. To use all the way through trap team.

Pretty easy explanation but the earth trap gets the gold queen I think. 7 year old plays it but it goes in the portal

My son loves trapping the villains with the crystals and then being able to use them to defeat others in the game.

This Earth trap crystal is necessary when you want to trap the additional characters offered in the story line.

My girlfriend's son loves this. He can trap villains in skylander's trap team and play as them using it.
