i like how you can store other characters, villains, in these traps and then use them in game. Downside is the time is limited on each use but the time rejuvenates when not using but you can have multiple villains with the same trap-only one at a time though. Much cheaper than buying other sklyanders especially the Trap Masters.

My 5 year old son recieved this and a 3 piece combo pack on the same day. He loved them. I think the traps are a new beat twist to the game. He now has all traps but the Fire trap, we can not seen to find that one.

trap works perfectly with the Skylanders game...helps to continue play...made my son happy

Purchased this for my son for his Skylanders game. He enjoys it. I have noticed that the plastic pieces can be easily broken. Does there really have to be a different version of the same characters for each new game that comes out? I think Trap Team is the parents being persuaded to buy all the characters.

This tech trap is actually a good value. You can trap a boss, and then briefly switch to the boss while playing the game. It adds some extra fun. And you only need one because you can swap out the trapped character.

Element of fun with this trap! Different game elements = different traps to purchase. You may need to take out a small loan before your trap collection is complete, but each one enhances game play. Good times.

The traps allow you to capture bad skylanders and use them to explore other areas of the game. I doubt they will be able to be used in future games, but inexpensive and cool for this one

I didn't know when I first purchased this Tech Trap that you would need a Tech Trapmaster to trap villains.

It works just as it should. My son is pleased with it. He enjoys playing skylanders and this was a great addition to his arsenal.

we tried a few stores in san diego and couldn't find anything store that had it. Bestbuy had it. made my son really happy!!!

Using the tech trap to unlock the villains as playable characters had him overjoyed. Really adds hours to the gameplay.

Price and selection at our best bet is great the kid love to go the because they alway have the sky landers he wants.

The traps add something to this version. My son loves catching the bad guys and fighting with them. Cute sayings.

Bought for my grandson. Needless to say he loves playing the game on the PS3 (and you need these to play better).
