It really comes down to how much time you have. I did not have the time to do all of the setup on my own and coordinate with a friend to help me with all of this and all of the handymen inreached our to we’re booked 3-4 weeks out. As a result, I had to go with geek squad to do this and they do a great job. However, the value of this just is not there.

We purchased a complete home entertainment system for the whole house from Best Buy. We are completely satisfied! Everything was installed by the Geek Squad. The system included 2 televisions with surround speaker systems and built in wall speakers plus additional Sonos One speakers for the other rooms of the home integrated together.

I had 2 fully articulating wall mounts, so I decided to have the sound bar mounted to the bottom of the TV rather than the wall. The mount allowed for the TV and sound bar to move together as a unit, which is nice, rather than having the sound bar remain stationary on the wall, if the TV gets repositioned

Geek Squad installed our Bose Soundbar at the same time as they installed the flatscreen to the wall. Good job all the way around. Professional, quick, and friendly. No mess. They handled all configuration, which I don't mind doing but its nice to have them do it while they are here. Highly recommend.

A few months ago we purchased new equipment and used the Best Buy installer service. We wanted our soundbar to be mounted onto the wall under our new T.V. (that they also installed) and needed someone with experience to ensure that it was done properly. Great job and service.

While my store salesman did not suggest a mounting kit, the installer said it would be better to have one, as it would keep the bar off of the mantel and hold it in place. As would happen, he had one on his truck and offered it with a discount. Enough said!!

Alan from Geek Squad is great- he took special time to make my install look terrific- like he was installing in his own home. The tv is mounted close to the wall and all the wires are completely hidden! These guys were clean, neat and professional!

I could have easily done this myself, but they were there putting in the TV so why not? If you're just adding the sound bar, you could easily install it yourself provided the TV has the right outputs, but it sure makes it trouble-free when they do it.

We are loyal Best Buy and Geek Squad customers. The GS member that installed our entertainment system was professional and personable. He even adjusted his schedule to return a couple of weeks later when we had an issue with one tv.

The Geek Squad mounted the soundbar below my tv. When I swivel the tv, the sound bar swivels with it for optimum sound. This was suggested by the in-home consultant from Best Buy. The Squad hid all the wires too. Looks great!

Bought this to go with my new Samsung TV. It is easy to connect to both my TV and my ECHO. I use my ECHO for music and it fills the house when it is played via this sound bar. The sound bar is just under the TV in the photo.

These two guys were great! Didn't take them long and they knew what they were doing. They even came back and re-adjusted it for us because we had trouble with some of the adjustments; didn't charge us for the return trip!

Our Technician did a great job. Making sure the Sound bar was mounted right where we wanted it. It looks great and he took all the boxes showed us how it worked, and was very polite and professional

Technicians mounted my Samsung curved s/b to my series 8500 And it look like it was part of TV. The rocketball mounting bracket work perfectly. The technicians showed me the process if I ever wanted to change S/B.

Kit should be part of the sound bar package. Manufacturer needs to include it.

Because I purchased the Chief TV mount and the Chief sound bar mount this service is really required since you have to mount the sound bar to the TV mount before mounting the TV to the wall.

The Sony sound bar that was connected to my TV has made watching movies much more enjoyable because the sound quality is so improved from when I watched TV before it was installed.

This was my best purchase these guys are so helpful. Scott installed my tv system it looks go great on the wall and explained everything. I would definitely purchase again.

I had the Geek Squad come out to install my TV and sound bar. They did a great job and were able to sync up my remote to work the TV and Sound Bar so I only need 1 remote for everything.

The tech did a good job of hooking up the sound bar to the TV, there wasn't enough space to mount the the sound bar between my cabinet and the TV, so the sound bar is on the cabinet.
