I have to different of the Jbl 500 series soundbar and subwoofer series they are alike but totally different at the same time i purched both of these at the same about 2 years ago and have taken very good care of them however its weird how one of them sounds way better than the other and recently my subwoofer of the one that didnt sound as good as the other just for no apparent reason quit working i was even total by a tech company employee that i paid to come out and check it out that this is a common problem with these. When it was all said and done i could not find anyway for it to be covered and had to go spend the around $600 for a whole new set thats the part that diappointed me not necessarliy the quality besides how it went out on me after only 2 years.

To clarify, we asked the Geek Squad to 'fix' a sound bar not sold by Best Buy and that had not worked right for sometime. The techs got the sound bar to work acceptably, but only for a while. It still cannot keep the voices/mouths synched and now delays when changing channels and often just turns itself off, requiring you to get the sound bar remote to turn it back on. It's newest 'feature' is, when trying to turn the tv off, it just reduces the volume. You have to wait until the volume is down to zero, wait a few seconds, then you can turn your tv off. Am sure the Spectrum cable remote could be blamed for that detail although it's only a couple months old and has new batteries.

The first time a tech came to repair the sound bar, it worked while they were here, but the next morning it was no longer working. I scheduled another tech to come out. He was excellent! It has been working just great since then. I think the young man's name was Keith or Keven? African American with a beard. He was professional, polite, friendly (which we appreciate!), and explained what he was doing. He deserves a raise!

Sean and Dezz...what an amazing team. They came to our appointment but realized they would nees more time for the job. Instead of making me rescheduled in my own they checked and made some calls and were able to be back the next day. The arrived and WOW!!! When they were done...we were in awe of what they did...better than the first set up. The job was neat and so well done that we were left speechless.
They double checked everything before leaving and everything worked. I forgot how to get my volume on the smart TV so I called and realizing that thwybwere probably on a job i hung up and was about to send a text qhen Sean called back. I explained my issue and rhwy came back the next day to help me with it.
Talk about AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE from beginning to end.

Bethany took time to listen to our issues with the T70 soundbar. She reported she had talked to other customers who had experienced the same issue of disconnecting sporadically.
Bethany had issues with the company software and was not afraid to ask for help to insure it was done correctly.
The company software did not allow for a smooth transition from pickup of defective soundbar and issue of a new one. It will require us to make an additional trip to the store.
Bethany was able to advise us that the T70 soundbar was a 2020 model and the new models should be coming out soon.

I would give a 10 star if I could. These folks expertly hung my 65 inch tv with a mounting unit I purchased from BB. I absolutely love my annual tech membership!

The Geek squad was efficient and personable and perfect. And they spoke English clearly! I could never have done what they did and so efficiently. They tested everything. Cleaned up after themselves and even write a mask because someone in the house is on chemo. HIGHLY RECOMMEND these 2 from the Hialeah office. Christina was one of them. Unfortunately I can't remember the other name. Thank you.

We sing praises of Austin!. He was knowledgeable, speedily and successfully connected our old sound system to integrate it with the tv (the technician hooking up the tv when we moved had refused to do this and another person was unable), and wore booties covering his shoes while in the house. He was a pleasure to have in our home. I went in person just before Christmas to our nearby Best Buy store to explain our situation. A total of 4 employees helped out to solve the problem. Will return for all our needs.

We have an older sound surround system that hasn’t worked in years. (Not purchased from Best Buy.). Finally broke down and made an appointment. Richard was fabulous! On time, polite and knew his stuff. We showed him the system and how we wanted it to work. We had to reschedule because we needed an unexpected part. Because Richard was so good, we requested him for the second visit and was willing to wait and extra day for him. Happy to see him return. Didn’t take long for the setup. Richard also reprogrammed a remote and we were rocking and rolling! Yeaaaaaay Richard! He’s the best!

Shaun and Victor were my geek squad installers for my new soundbar. They arrived on time and got things up and running in a short amount of time. Afterwards they took the time to tweak all the settings and it sounded like I was in a theater. After all was set-up, they installed an app on my phone so I could easily play with the settings to my liking. All is running well at this time. Highly recommend them for the install you may need.
