Two agents arrived right on time. I told them want I needed done and 1/2 hour later they were done. They volunteered to take the sound bar trash with them and answered all my questions. Great Job!

Agents mounted my tv and connected some peripherals, couldn't figure out the computer, told them I would do I but for some reason, Samsung will not recognize my computer. Need to talk to the geek squad on this one, never had this problem before.

Erin configured our surround sound receiver and home stereo system and made sure that all the functions were working. And informed us of the items that were not working. The geek squad was sent to make sure our TV and sounder were properly installed which was previously set up by a Best Buy 3rd party service. The geek squad made sure everything was set up properly and eliminated a lot of cable that we no lingered needed. They did an awesome job.

Very happy after the Techs connected our new LGTV55" remote control to our Soundbar system. With the old TV we had to use 2 separate remotes, and now we only need one remote to turn on the TV and soundbar together. It's so convenient now. Thanks Techs!

Most of the time when I have Geek Squad come by to install new tech, I have absolutely no problem with my installers. This time, that was not the case.
I asked to have a new Samsung soundbar installed to improve the sound from my Sony TV. Yes, it's a fairly simple install, but honestly, I wanted to ensure it was connected properly to avoid any issues. When the agent arrived, he did the setup, but he failed to check all the components -- specifically, the remote control. I shouldn't say he failed to check it; he did. AND IT DIDN'T WORK. The remote wouldn't increase or decrease the volume, it didn't change the volume on the subwoofer, and he couldn't get it to change to different presets. He kept pointing the remote at the soundbar -- nothing. After about 10 minutes, he shrugged his shoulders, declared it done, and left. I spent the rest of the holiday season becoming increasingly frustrated with the soundbar and recently returned it. Had the Geek Squad agent finished the job or admitted the remote wasn't working properly, I might still have the soundbar I had wanted in the first place. Very disappointed in Geek Squad.
