I would not have known how to hook up the sound bar I would have no clue and then I would be frustrated so it was better to pay them to do it and it was well worth it because I knew they would have to stay at my house and get it all done and help me learn how to use it. I don’t like having issues and problems so I would rather pay somebody that knows what they’re doing and make them stay there until I fully understand how to do it and they did that with patience and kindness

The technician gave me a quick update on use of sound bar and discovered woofer was not connected to Wi-Fi. He reconnected the speaker and the system is now working great.

This service took the frustration out of my soundbar set up. Had 2 different sound bar brands which were both giving me trouble with 2 different tv brands. Let them sit unused for a year. Finally treated myself to this service. Jason and Antoine were great - courteous, listened to my complaints, covered their shoes and checked out both situations, explained what was happening, fixed the issues, patiently gave me some advice regarding all my tv equipment and they were just a pleasure to work with and gave me peace of mind about my audio finally! Jason, the gentleman who provided me excellent rechnical expertise in helping me set up my girlfriend’s stereo was one of the nicest people that I have been lucky to meet. He was friendly and very professional. His kind and caring service truly made the time go by pretty fast. I’ve encountered a lot of different types of technicians and home service repair people, but he certainly ranks as the best one that I have encountered. When I need someone to help me with any of the new “toys” that I buy from Best Buy, I will certainly request that he be sent to assist me. He’s one of a kind !

I purchased a new TV but had an existing, nearly-new sound bar which I wanted to use, and the Geek Squad techs installed the sound bar including testing it, demonstrating Dolby Atmos sound through it, and hiding as well as possible the wire connections as the soundbar sits on my fireplace mantle with the TV on the wall above it. We're very pleased with the result.

The Geek Squad-Jarod and Ernest installed the sound bar. The week before they had installed my new 75 inch TV and mounted it on the wall. Awesome!!! When my old sound bar would not work with just one control, they suggested a new sound bar which would make one control handle everything. I ordered the new sound bar and they came to install it and everything works with one click now. They are the best and work very hard to make the customer happy. I will be buying more products at Best Buy only if I can have these two gentlemen install them.

The technicians that came had some difficulty finding the issue that had occurred with our soundbar, but they reset the entire system including the television until they ultimately found that the HDMI cable had gone bad. That fixed the problem and now everything is working perfectly. I wouldn't have thought of that issue as the cables were only about 6 months old and didn't realize they can fail they quickly.

I had 4 remotes with my last tv and home theater. My wife had enough of my shenanigans with remotes. She demanded the Geeks set up our audio and get everything into one comprehensive remote. This is something I have been unable to do for over a decade! I can do many things but mastering remotes is not in my wheelhouse! Thanks to the Geek Squad there is a balance in the force once again and my house is peaceful! Until the next time I forget to do something! Bottom line, the wife was right why mess with it when I can have the geeks do it for me! lol Thanks Geek Squad!!!!!!!
