Terrible, Terrible, Terrible service.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This install was a total screwup from the very minute we purchased the thermostat back at the beginning of September. Yep - that is how long it took to get the thing installed and we ended up contacting an outside contractor to do the install, since Best Buy couldn't seem to be able to make a simple appointment. We had four different appointments set up and every one was screwed up. I will never recommend Best Buy for any installation again.

Choose someone other than Best Buy

Another third party contractor they hired told them an HVAC Tech is required. Best Buy continues to schedule install when it shoulf be a repair.

Tech home disappointed

Geek Squad was a no show with no apology

Customer service was not helpful and didn't even apologize or try and make things right. Subsequently we cancelled our Total Tech plan. This was our second no show and the best anyone was willing to do was offer us a date 3 weeks away.

Geek Squad Terrible Experience

After he left I checked and found low not line voltage. Hired another company to install and they work fine. I just think he didn’t want to work anymore that day.

Couldn't complete the install
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The installer said that a wire needed to install the Wifi thermostat was not there so he removed the new one and reinstalled the old one. I had my AC service company come in and they found that the wire was there all the time. The installer just missed it. They made the installation quickly and easily.

I got ONTECH when I ordered Geek Squad

Instead of Geek Squad another company, ONTECH showed up. The ONTECH technician did not know how to install the thermostats. They are still not working.
