Ring system works great. Free install from Best Buy can’t be beat. Took a full day for four installers plus a couple of Followup days. The guys were very professional.

I had Geek Squad come out to install several Ring cameras and equipment for me. It took *5 MONTHS* and 10 visits before the system was mostly working. They were still unable to get all the equipment to show up on the Ring app on my phone, and I have been left to do that on my own. They or someone they subcontract with, had to come out *10* times over a 5 month period before the equipment actually worked! The original order was messed up and it took 3 visits to just get the correct doorbell installed -- which could never be combined with other visits btw, for some mysterious reason. The glass breakers needed to be replaced and then the Ring Pro base unit went bad. But instead of replacing it with the expensive base unit I bought, I was told by the techs that the *store manager* at the Best Buy in Lady Lake, Florida, told them to install one that was way cheaper than the one I'd paid for. I fought that, but it was a span of 6-weeks between asking to have the base unit replaced and until the correct unit was installed. For most of 5 months, I've had no working alarm! Geek squad used to be my go-to for all technology and I know I've spent at least $30,000 there in the past 25 years. I understand this Best Buy location has had many Geek Squad layoffs, so you never deal with the same person twice and half the time they farm out the work to subcontractors -- several of whom had never installed a Ring system. I could have paid bozos off the street to install it for far less than the $1850 I paid, so I feel I've been ripped off. I am not blaming the techs who ALL TRIED THEIR BEST but the store and/or corporate management has severe problems and customer service has gone way downhill.

Several sensors have fallen off the windows/doors. Door bell makes many false reports.

We had to learn together that the door sensors could be placed in odd configurations to fit my house, but once we got it dialed in, everything went great! Super nice crew

Agents installed the blink camera. But they didn't had the right equipment to do that and had to use in home equipment
