Ice maker works great. It makes plenty of ice in a few hours. After a day of initial use the funny taste in the ice cubes disappeared. Nevertheless, found the same ice maker cheaper at a different home improvement store.

Bought ice maker weeks later no ice. Called Best Buy to let them know and was told I would have to pay to have them come diagnose what’s wrong and fix.

The person delivering the refrigerator had no idea how to install the icemaker. My husband did it with no problem. We did get the cost of the install refunded.

They put it in and did all the hooking up for it. They were very nice and polite also picked up there trash they had

Looks like Best Buy charged me double on installation. Will visit store again to remedy. Otherwise, installation good with just a little grease smudge left behind.

Installed even before delivery. It was hooked up and works perfect.

One of the worst experiences we have had. Installers do not know what they are doing on more compkex installs like an ice maker. Mostly hist delivery and set up. When they can not figure things out, they told us something is wrong with the setup in the house, and are not allowed to intsall.Dispatchers do not tell installers what they are sent for. Worst customer service we have received from any vendor.

We love our second ice maker, it makes a lot of ice in a short time. It will be nice when the entire family is home for holidays and vacations.

Ice maker what ice maker….that is the joke given we still don’t have one after 4 attempted install of wrong item… can’t put a square peg in a round hole…. But they keep trying 4X trying

Technicians did the job quickly with no problems. Water line was connected by plumber. Ice maker worked as advertised.

This has been almost a two month process. The installers did not install the ice maker correctly the first time on this new refrigerator and so we are waiting for their second attempt to install it correctly. You would think Best Buy would be in a hurry to do so but I have had the second ice maker for two weeks but the technician is not coming until next week for the second attempt. Obviously not a priority to them. Best Buy lists purchase date on this review as July 17 but my receipt shows it as June 27. Thus, I have to give them no stars.

My water pipe was more than 6' away from the fridge so this was not installed

Delivery company installed the ice maker into our new refrigerator. It is working fine. We are getting ice made and no problems. Thanks to the guys who installed this for us. Great job.

They did a good job with the install . Did not take them long at all .

When they came to install the icemaker, we were told that we did not have the right part. We had already waited long enough. We found out we did have the right part, but we had to reschedule another appointment for the install.

Geek Squad installed GE ice maker for bottom freezer. They completed install in 25 minutes. We now have more ice than we need!
