On the third party services, communication is a disaster. For me it always takes two attempts to get it correct. The store provided service is great! I would hate to guess how much business the third party service is costing Best Buy!

This one is easy for me...if I'm paying over 3k for a theatre quality screen, I'm paying the professionals a nominal amount to make sure it gets installed correctly! Yes, a buddy and I could have done it ourselves, but this guy isn't chancing it for this quality 64" plasma...get the service!

I hired the Geek Squad to install my new 55' TV because I wanted to make sure all of my other devices would be connected properly for this smart tv. And also to make any adjustments to the picture, etc. I'm very particular with centering and aesthetics. This technician was very patient with my preferences and adjusted just right! He made an effort to clean up any debris from packing materials. And reviewed all of the TV options before leaving. I was very happy!!

We decided to get our TV mounted by Best Buy because we needed it above our fireplace and I was worried of not getting it installed correctly. They contacted me about 1/2 hour before they got there to make sure we were okay with the time and that we were ready for them. They were very nice and responsive. Installation didn't take long at all and we didn't even mind the extra charges just because it was above the fireplace - totally worth it.

Two fellows with the Geek Squad arrived at the appointed time. Immediately donned the shoe covers and carefully carried in my new 50" TV. I apologize that I don't remember their names, but they were very polite, professional and knew what they were doing....even having to go downstairs to the basement to get all the old wires out and the new ones run! Very pleased with the Geek Squad service.... and this is our second experience with them!

They did a good job but I would have preferred to have the consultation done beforehand. This is a free service - take advantage of this prior to wall install so you are comfortable with how they will install.

The Geek Squad did a great job mounting my 65" 4K tv and getting it up and running. They programed the tv to automatically go to the HD channel even if you entered the SD channel. My sound bar was not working correctly with my old tv and they got it working with the new tv in no time at all. I bought a tilting wall mount and was happy that it only stuck out about 4" at the top and 1" at the bottom when the tv was tilted down.

I originally bought a full motion mount, but was told I couldn't use it for the tv i had. I didn't have a choice in purchasing this it was a Christmas gift. If I wouldn't have, my gift would have been ruined

Large flat screen TVs are difficult to mount by yourself so it's worth it to have the geek squad do it right.

Average install. One person didn't seem to know much about how to set up. Was told I had a bad hdmi cable but it worked right before so had to find another in the house. No instruction given on tv

Had just moved into house. No cable yet. When I received cable. Had to relearn devices again. Took a minute. Wish had appointment post install. Still having some learning to go?
