This is a good release of a very great tv show. It's not available on blu-ray yet, but the picture and audio quality of this dvd release is very good for a standard-definition release. The biggest drawback: the double-sided dvds are prone to scratching and collecting dust on the exposed side. The studio couldn't spend a few extra cents and release only single-sided discs?

This "spooky" comedy screams out with laughter. Each of the cast members brought a unique perspective to this "kooky" family. John Astin was robbed by not winning an Emmy for his portrayal of the head of the household, Gomez Addams.

You can't beat the old black and white sitcoms. Addams Family's quirkyness can't be beat. Being 6'7, my nickname in school was always Lurch, which is funny since Ted Cassidy and myself share the same birthday on 7/31, but not the same year of course.

I watched this series as a teenager and enjoyed it and it is still entertaining today. The acting in this show is excellent led by Carolyn Jones as Morticia. The stories are funny and clean family entertainment.

One of the great earlier TV shows, brings back childhood memories. Fun to relive these old adventures. Simple plots, lots of laughs. Great price!

I bought this for my 10 year old son. He had never seen the old classics. He has watched them all and he really enjoyed them.

Wanted to introduce my kids to The Addams Family and this was perfect.

The discs do not have a clearly identified side and they do not work in all dvd machines. will not work if machine is blue ray. rpae

Even thought my young friends say no to B&W when it was put on TV they were the ones that were being Dragged away from the TV when dinner was served. It is Good Clean Wholesome family fun. We have passed around these to thier parents and friends only to get them back asking for more. I Know it was a hit and I am glad that we made this purchase. Not only did it bring back found memmories of my childhood it is the start of the "Y" generation peering into the B&W DVD's of yesteryear.

love the commentaries, I wish there were more b/c the show hhas been gone so long. I never knew who Lurch was & that he had more lines

its sad that there is hardly any good clean shows left on tv, so I like to watch these old shows from the 60s 70s and 80s
