I really like having this for tabletop play. It is a huge improvement compared the small stand that is built into the Switch. With this stand, you can actually charge the console while playing, and the stand is adjustable and more sturdy than the built-in stand. It isn't an absolute necessity to have with the Switch, but it definitely makes tabletop mode a lot better!

For those with a standard switch or a switch lite, this list is great for use on the table. It works with you existing power adaptor and can easily attach to the switch. You will need to remove any protective shells before using it though.

This is nice. I usually play at my desk at work and I have the charging cable. Before this you had to hope that you had enough battery power left to play games for extended times if you wanted a buddy to play with you with the joy-cons. The kickstand on the Switch blocks that ability. Now you can. Only reason this is not 5 stars is not because of the product itself. It's that Nintendo should have included this with the system.

I wanted a stand to play and charge without the dock and a big TV screen. I researched the stands available on the market and found a huge flaw with them - the arm that sticks out to hold the Switch from under tends to fall down after heavy use. What happens then? The Switch would fall and it leaves you with a useless stand. Then, I saw this product for pre-order. I saw and I appreciated the idea of it: a base with a much lower center of gravity to hold the Switch up that it will not fall down, a convenient way to charge the Switch at the same time, PLUS it's an official Nintendo product. It's a few bucks more than the other stands, but I believe this one will last longer than the others, so in my mind, it's worth the extra. So far, it's been very reliable. Yes, it's tiny, so it seems like it will rock side-to-side, but it doesn't. It's also tiny enough to stick in your standard Switch cases. Definitely a 5-star product.

Does a good job of giving the switch a better stand plus adding charging to the mix. The kick stand is similar to a laptop higne or surface pro kick stand. IT is also small enough to carry with in small bags which I liked.

Simply a must have for a switch lite owners. It charges and cradles your switch using the charger thats included with your switch which is great for long gaming sessions or if you just want to play in tabletop mode since the lite doesn't have a kick stand.

Perfect in every way. First it’s really small pocket size which comes in handy for travel, I have another holder but it’s easily four times as big and way heavier too. Next, and most importantly you can charge your Switch while you play in lots of different positions and finally it’s an official Nintendo product so it’s safe to use!

It services it's purpose. It works well in that it allows you to plug in the Switch while having it stand up. Also the stand on the dock is much easier to open than the one that is built-in to the Switch (I was always worried about breaking it). It can also work with other USB-C devices but has limited space for docking due to the bevel built-in near the port. I do want to note I was able to buy it on sale and was most definitely worth it for the price I paid. My only complaint was on delivery. My first order was lost and it took over 2 weeks (past expected date) to get the replacement order, but that is on Best Buy.

Love it! Works like a charm with a low profile. Love how I can dock the switch to charge and play with an adjustable viewing angle. Only reason for the 4 stars and not a 5 is because, come on, this thing realistically should only cost $9.99. $20 is a little too overpriced. Or better yet, come with the Switch itself.

This stand is very sturdy and a must-have add-on when purchasing a switch. The kickstand that comes with the console can be a bit flimsy, additionally, you are not able to charge and play at the same time. This accessory will address both issues and should be a no-brainer. It is officially licensed and very small and portable!

The kickstand on the switch is really just an SD cover, that kinda works to hold it up on hard, flat, and level surfaces. With the stand it is much easier to get a stable support on a variety of surfaces, plus you can still charge. I only wish it were included with the switch.

I had a handful of plane travel scheduled for the holidays and I wanted to play Smash Bros. Ultimate with a GameCube controller that was wired (as to not interfere with the wireless communications of the airplane). For some bizarre reason, the Nintendo Switch was designed with the USB-C port on the bottom of the unit, preventing charging and/or wired controller to be plugged in while on the go. This charging stand, however, places the USB-C port on the side, allowing for charging or, in my specific need, playing games while the Switch is standing up with a wired controller. I did need to pick up an additional cable: a Micro-USB to USB-C cable and modify it ever-so-slightly to make it so my wired GameCube controller to work, but WORK IT DID!! If you are looking for a solution of playing the Nintendo Switch on-the-go while simultaneously charging or playing with a wired controller, then this is an ESSENTIAL accessory.

Perfect for the nightstand if you often use the device in handheld mode. Kickstand is sturdy and well constructed. I recommend this to someone looking for a minimal charing stand. I will be curious if this works with the new Switch Mini coming out.

This stand does one thing and does it well - it allows you to charge your Nintendo Switch while playing it in tabletop mode. There is no HDMI out, so it is not a replacement to your standard Switch dock. This product also makes for a good travel charger, if you want to charge your Switch (say, overnight) without laying it flat on a table.

I picked this up for better angling for tabletop mode.. the fact that it allows for charging as well is awesome. The stand is tiny and lightweight, great for traveling.

If you need a simple and compact charging stand, this is the product for your Switch! This item is easy to take with you. And if you're almost out of juice, there's a charging port on the side.

Highly recommended if you play your switch in portable and on a flat surface. Very sturdy and convenient to charge because there’s a port on the side for the charger.

Yeah this stand is exactly what you are looking for in a Nintendo switch stand. It is standy and Nintendo switchy so it’s perfect if you have a Nintendo switch. Fast charger and nice and compact!
