2015 Adobe Acrobat Pro DC for Mac-Review. This version of Adobe Acrobat for Mac is a pleasure to use. The learning curve is minimal. It does everything the older versions of Acrobat did but has added a new feature known as Document Cloud (DC) that pushes PDFs to Adobe’s cloud service, which is a document management and document signing service which displays a similar interface for the iMac, iPad, and iPhone. The Document Cloud allows you to create, edit, sign and share PDFs from anywhere. The new home screen on the desktop Pro version has an interface that has significantly changed from past versions to make it easier to find the correct tools to make changes to the PDF document. When you open a word processing document to convert to PDF go to File >Print> Save as Adobe PDF. Depending on your preference setting, the document is converted to PDF that is OCR converted and opens in Adobe Acrobat Pro ready for additional alteration or control. When you open a PDF document the most common tools are in the right-hand column. After you select a tool, a drop-down menu appears, with options, and the tools menu vanishes. It is easy to convert scanned text with no OCR to OCR so that it can be edited, or cut and pasted to any text editing software such as Microsoft Word for Mac or Apple Pages. There are 25 tools in the menu for document enhancement that allows you to edit or manipulate a PDF document. The program is not as user friendly as past versions. The scroll function is choppy and it takes a while for a large file to populate. Scrolling is very difficult on the eyes - very frustrating.

Worked well for me even without much learning curve

Great for making PDF files out of spreadsheets and other documents. You can also insert and extract pages. Ideal for office use!

Works great if you need all the features of it, but if you dont there are other PDF creation programs out there that are free/cost a lot less.

For the office it was a great addition. It help simplify the forms that had to be filled out.

I had tried other, less expensive PDF Editors for the Mac, but none of them worked as smooth and efficient as Adobe Pro. Its a little pricey, but well worth it.

This product does everything the new subscription based version of adobe does, or at least within our needs, including updates, without the hassle of a costly monthly subscription service. I'm very happy with the product.

I use Acrobat for work and home. It provides me with the tools I need to produce documents I can share online and users of multiple platforms can view it easily.

This is an essential software for me. It allows you to edit .pdf files.

Easy installation and works great for my macbook pro

I needed this software really bad for both school and work. It literally changed my life. I can do so mush stuff now. I can create, sign, edit and much more, something I couldn't before. In school it takes me half the time now when I'm doing my report. I can concentrate on other stuff. At work I create reports for my employees and manager to keep up with the customer flow. So fast and EZ! I really recommend this to everybody. To the most experience entrepreneur to the novice person. Anybody can use this product.
