Ive been using lightroom for years. I love the software. Lightroom has easy functional use, creates a great product and it does not disappoint.

Long ago are the days of buying photo software. Pros is its always up to date with latest features. For me this package is perfect as a photographer. The tools you need to get the most out of Raw photos. I find buying the plan in one shot easier especially when bought in conjunction with certain items like a camera you get it for a little less. Also no need to input a credit card on Adobe that way if something happens you dont get charged monthly like an unused gym membership.

I use Lr (not so much of Ps) for almost all of my editing and for all of my management of my library of photos. Plus side to the subscription model is that I continuously get updates to the software (i.e., latest version), but the downside is that you never own it. There a lot of great free plug-ins (as well as pay for plug-ins) to make it easier to modify pictures. I would recommend for even new users, but I would also suggest that new users watch some of the many youtube videos that can give many great tips.

I bought this program in response to losing my 'owned' version of Photoshop CS6 due to failure of my Windows 7 computer. I don't like having to use programs with a subscription. However, this was the next best way to have Photoshop for editing hundreds of photographs. I do like it better than CS6 because of improvements like Camera Raw is now a filter within CC and I use it with layers to edit most images.

Have been a user of Adobe's products for quite some time. I generally like what they are doing, even though some support for newer technologies can be slow to release. That said, LR and PS continue to set the bar. For the license model, I know some absolutely refuse to accept that this subscription makes sense over traditional purchase, pay of upgrades business structure. For $10 a month, I am getting constant improvement and real, usable features released as they are ready. They don't have to wait for major package updates to push those or fixes to the user base. When you consider the costs of purchase for standalone copies of LR and PS, you were somewhere around $750 at retail. Upgrades were rarely free. And oh, by the way, you never actually owned that software anyway. Look at the terms...you are granted permission to use it. CC makes perfect sense to me and I recommend to everyone who asks.

This is a great product and the install was simple.

Lightroom is a great photo editing tool. There is a learning curve but once you learn the basics it is an amazing tool to enhance your pictures.

First of all, I am not a subscribing type of person. I don’t like monthly cost for things and would rather buy things out right. That being said, you can’t beat this product. Having the updated version at all times and all of the cloud features, it’s just worth it. I am pretty new to light room and Photoshop but with the amount of tutorials and the hints that this program offers, I’m moving right along pretty quickly. If you’re on the fence and editing pictures weekly or monthly, don’t hesitate to buy this.

I think this program is meant for actual photographers, not the average person. Its not really easy to move around in there, or getting the photos I want to work on, in the Lightroom program. Also, I wish they had more filters. I used Paint shop with my previous laptop and it was a lot easier to work with.
