I bought Aperture 3 previously until Mac stop supporting the software and closed it out before a photoshoot. I heard of Lightroom before version 2 and chose the cheaper Aperture 3. Lightroom has similar features but more powerful. I purchased Lightroom 6 recently and still learning. There's several hidden features. I don't regret Aperture3 though I wish I had learned Lightroom earlier. Most editing will not require cs6. It also supports teathering.

It’s a little harder to use than I expected but overall it is a great product! I still have a lot to learn on this program.... I do like the mobile app version!!! That is a very nice perk of the purchase! I can edit my photos as I take them with my IPhone! Now that portion is limited but it also has a ton of ability in the same aspect!

I have used Photoshop cs3 for years . If you are taking your photos in raw format, Lightroom 6 is the best way to edit them.

I've enjoyed the product but have done a lot of reading online to get pointers on various functions. I'm sure there is much more to this that I am looking forward to exploring. So far, it has given me good results in editing photos and enabled me to add copyright information to my photos. I also appreciate knowing all my metadata is recorded in the software.

This is a bit challenging, but with the help of on-line or community college classes, you can make wonderful improvements to photos.

I love it, period. It works well with the new model cameras and I opted for the free class that comes with it.

I recently had a Virus on my Computer and had to Upgrade Lightroom. I saw that a competitor had Lightroom 5 for $50 but I chose to go with the more expensive 6 to be better suited for the future. So far I haven't regretted the upgrade. P.S. I'm so glad that Adobe went back to the regular set up.

great program for all levels of skill for those who love taking pictures. It has so many tools and options to use. I am still learning this program but am discovering new tools all the time. It has helped me turn my basic pictures into masterpieces.

This really isn’t a review. While I love the product. I have not been able to instal the permanent file because the redemption code is invalid. I don’t know how to fix the problem. Help, would be greatly appreciated.

The software is great for editing and organizing photos. You can find a lot of youtube videos to help.

So, I had Photoshop Elements to edit my photos (beginner photographer) and I couldn't get my skin tones just how I wanted them. I bought Lightroom to use in addition to Photoshop Elements, and I LOVE it. I get the right skin tone and my photographs have really boosted. Its very easy to use and there are tons of tutorials on youtube if you get 'stuck'. I love it and actually prefer it over Elements. But using both have more than enhanced my work.

I've been a Lightroom user since Lightroom 3 and really appreciate it's ease of use and various settings. It has more than enough settings to produce professionally finished photos, color and black and white. Less is better when it comes to photo editing; I always try to get it right in camera. But if I had to pump up the ISO, Lightroom masterfully takes care of any noise produced, giving me a quality file for printing. If I forget to adjust my white balance, no problem. Lightroom offers automatic and custom corrections. Unlimited presets are available if you like using them. I'll be photographing a considerable number of corporate employees this week. It's times like this that I really appreciate Lightroom's many features, which help me to effeciently complete my RAW processing. It offers more than needed. It's great photo editing software with a fairly easy learning curve. I'll take Lightroom any day over the others.

This was updated purchase and it is easy to work. Like the idea of being able to manage my photos as well as to process. Generally shoot both JPEG and RAW so I can easily process snapshots while using full power of program for the RAW processing. Great product that enables more as skill matures.

I had previously bought the photoshop elements package. However this gives u a bit more photo editing capabilities. Works with the new canon 6dmark2 cr2 files. Without needing the CC version.

This program is Awesome! It is quick an easy to use, has great image filing , and processing capabilities. Only been using it for a few weeks but love it. If you need help setting the prgram up for the first time, watch Tim Grays video on getting started with lightroom on utube.

Love this! It is easy to use. I would suggest getting a book to help with Lightroom. Lightroom will allow you to make your photos look professional grade.

Lightroom 6 is amazing. It so easy to catalog, manipulate and get creative with your photos. And there a lot of free tutorials on the internet to help you get the most out of the product.

I absolutely love this program. Very easy to use. One step and your photo comes to life. Great for beginners or advanced users.
