Installers were real pros. Knew what to do to accommodate securing power wire so it did not impede to open drawer below cooktop.

I would not add a star for this rating. After the installers left, my wife started smelling a foul smell. Once we turned off the gas to the unit, the smell went away. We called to request someone to return to evaluate and fix the issue. They said it would be 24-hours before someone would call back. After the 24-hour wait, we had to call them for direction. They said the original caller would return the next day to fix the issue. The installer didn’t show up when we were told he would. When calling the support line we were told it would be a week before someone would come out if fix the problem. It will be almost 2 weeks that we will not be able to use the new range. Sadly, this is the third negative experience with appliance purchases with Best Buy. I was a long time customer of Best Buy, but now will no longer step foot in one of their stores. Very poor customer support. Very sad.

So far, so good. I enjoy having my Genaire cooktop. The two men that put it in did a very good job.

This installer was magnificient!!! He custom desingned the install after recognizing that the instructions in the GE Profile manual were unworkable. I still fail to understand why we were subjected to such prolonged pain and suffering on this purchase. Perhaps the first installer was correct when he suggested going to Home Depot/Lowes to purchase the part shone in the GE manual. We are Amazon Prime members and when our next purchase is required, we will keep the first installer' advice in mind.

I had the WORST customer service experience ever in my life. I selected a cooktop through Best Buy online and had to wait two months for the delivery of the cooktop. On the day before it was to be delivered, I received a message that the delivery was to be delayed by one week. I called to reschedule the date/time and was told that our stove area needs to be measured prior to delivery - which is fine, but there was no communication until two months after the order that this was a requirement. (CALLING BEST BUY is a nightmare- I was transferred from one department to another department four times and each time, I had to explain my predicament all over again.) I scheduled the measurement and that service (a third party) went OK. Then I called to schedule the delivery of the item - I was told that I needed three appointments - one for the item to be delivered, one for the item to be installed, and another for old cooktop to be taken away. So I booked all three appointments on the same day. The item was delivered within the window I was told. Then I waited 5 hours and finally called Best Buy only to find out that my installation was cancelled by someone (a Best Buy employee) with no explanation and no communication from Best Buy to me. I set up another installation appointment (by now - you must be wondering why I bothered doing this - I have no reasonable explanation except that I had a large cooktop sitting in my front hall for one week). Next I got a call from the third party who did the initial measurements saying that I need a special ring to be installed at an additional cost of $450. I asked the woman why no one had informed me of this prior to this time and she was very rude to me. At this point, I was fed up - I had been waiting two months for a cooktop which was sitting in my front hall. I had hours of waiting and sitting on the phone and it was clear then and now that Best Buy is not a good choice for cooktop installation and is the WORST choice in terms of customer service. I called to arrange pick up of the cooktop. I contacted another vendor who actually knows how to install cooktops and it was measured and installed within 2 weeks with excellent communication and customer service. NEVER AGAIN BEST BUY - NEVER AGAIN!

I love this Wolf cooktop. A new addition to our kitchen remodel. The technicians were very good and neat with this installation.

Large capacity (22.1) for a counter depth refrigerator. There are other refrigerators same size and less capacity (20 cuft).

My installation team was wonderful. The arrived during the time window. Both technicians were very friendly and informative. We needed an extra piece for the down draft and one of the technicians brought it back in 2 days. They had installed my cook top so that I could use it as long as I did not need the downdraft until the piece was installed. They also cleaned up very well following the installation. I would definitely use them again.

Since my countertop had to be cut slightly larger to accommodate the new cooktop, the Best Buy contractor had to make 2 trips - one to deliver the unit and another to install it after the countertop was cut. It could have potentially been a logistical nightmare, but all those involved were prompt, knowledgeable and quick to perform their function. I was only out of a cooktop for about 30 hours. I'm very pleased with my experience.

It was an easy fit and job well done! The technicians took out the old cooktop and got everything hooked up in a flash!
