Brought the wrong fitting to hook up the gas. Forgot it when they came back the next day then stopped returning my calls. I hired a plumber to come finish the job.

These installers are awesome. Perfection! What a great team. On time, careful, and cleaned up after.

Paid for an installation and had to redo the installation ourselves to avoid cutting up the cabinetry. The installer did not follow the installation manual that came with the cooktop, test for leaks, or use the new gas line we were told was a requirement. We were told we would have to visit a different store from the one where we purchased and paid for the cooktop and installation because the installation was handled by a different store. Never again.

The installer was very knowledgeable on my stove. He had some problems but resolved them and I am very pleased.

This GE cooktop installation, replaced a 20 year old GE cooktop with downdraft. The old cooktop duct did not fit with new cooktop (fan housing longer on new cooktop). This was not included (had to hire A/C guy to modify). Installer did not install a conduit connector (required by code)when wiring I had to hire an Elec. guy. Old cooktop had a conduit connector that could have been used but I did not notice while BB installed was at home. GE Product was excellent--installation not.

Absolutely horrendous... Installer calls 2 hours after the latest arrival time to saw he's on the way. Doesn't come prepared to do the venting correctly Doesn't bring the propane conversion I have to pay another Best Buy installer another $160 to finish I sat on hold for 50 minutes trying to clean things up and when it was finally answered they promptly hung up I'm very, very disappointed in the service and will think long and hard in a Best Buy purchase going forward...

Not a great experience with the installation of my stove. Had one replacement and atleast 4 visits to fix leak problem with a lot of calls and hold time.

Cooktop never worked properly. Curious why the installers did not do a full system test prior to leaving. I had to call GE service. They set up an appointment with Asurion. This process took two + weeks. In the meantime, my stove didn't even boil water. Asurion tech was great. Found a wire had not been connected. We did a full test, including boiling water. I'm tempted to ask for a refund for the install since it was not done correctly.

First one came with one head with a poor flame, another with a bad ignition. The replacement had a crooked knob and in still waiting for that replacement. Poorly made.

When the installer arrived, we were notified that they would have to do additional work to make the new cooktop work. Apparently one was round and the other was square and it had to be retrofitted. $200 additional later, it was installed. This was right before Thanksgiving and on Thanksgiving day we went to use the downdraft and it didn't work. Apparently the installer did not test that before he left. I have called and spoke with my rep, but they have yet to contact us to schedule.
