Adventure Time is one of my all time favorite shows.

Adventure Time is an animated series that is as charming as it is colorful and vibrant. The commentaries previous seasons had are absent, but the picture quality and audio quality are still great! This set comes on two blu-ray discs and an Ultraviolet code for redemption on Flixster. More animated television shows on blu-ray is not only a good thing, but also something to celebrate. Adventure Time: The Complete Fifth Season on blu-ray gets my highest recommendation.

With this season, the show has not only moved further away from being a show made up mostly of random gags and jokes over to a more mythology based series, but it also moves away from being 26 episodes. With that in mind, how do the episodes look on Blu-ray? The look just fine. While there's a great deal of content per disc, they don't look bad. Now, as for the bonus features, this season is a bit of a departure from previous entries. To begin with, there are no commentaries at all. While doing commentary for every episode for the last 3 seasons might not have been wise given the lack of real info, it would have been nice to hear at least some commentaries. Still, the Adventure Time Forever featurette provides a nice look into the morale or the crew during the production of the first season. Also, the Easter egg on disc one (it's an image gallery) is nice. Overall, it's a fun release. Well worth buying for fans of the show. It might not, however, be a good season to use as a jumping on point for beginners given its reliance upon the show's mythology.

The fifth season of Adventure Time has over 52 episodes in it, with my favorite one being Jake the dad. In that episode Jake's puppies are born! The series has changed considerably from just focusing on Finn and Jake, to give other characters like Ice King and Marcelene a richer back round story.

This Season of Adventure Time was overall fantastic, from sad episodes like "I Remember You" to cool episodes like "Mystery Dungeon". I really enjoyed this and loved the fact that it had double the episode size compared to the past 4 seasons. Will Definitely buy Season 6 and 7.

Regardless of your age... be you a teen, pre-teen, mom, dad, or grand parent... this show is going to be for you. Never have I seen a more imaginative, thought provokingly clever (and flat out hilarious) show. Buy every DVD you can, just so you can pop them in whenever.

I LOVE ADVENTURE TIME!!! I have not been keeping up with the show when it airs on Cartoon Network so I was very excited to get my hands on the 5th Season! It's twice the amount of episodes in this season and I love every one of them! You will not be disappointed!!!

Product shipped quickly and worked as it should. It has 4 disks with tons of episodes because it is a complete season. I almost confused it with another Adventure Time DVD that looks similar but has Finn on the front as well. Love this show.

ADVENTURE TIME! There are a ton of episodes in this season, including some of the best they've ever made. I'm a huge fan of this show and would recommend it to anyone who loves fantasy, silliness, and animation!

Adventure Time is the perfect cartoon for adults to remember how it feels to be young, to view the world as an adventure, and to remember the love of a best friend in the form of a dog.

I mean I love the series, but Frederator better not pull a Funimation and stop releasing the season dvd and go straight to the complete collection dvd's.

I've always been a huge fan of the show and I couldnt wait for season five to come out. I'm so happy that now its 50 episodes for the season!! Even more Adventure TIme!!!

Seriously, this show is still in it's stride. It's awesome. It's creative. It's kooky. It's mature and immature. If you haven't seen it, start now. You won't regret it!

Adventure Time : Complete Fifth Season blu ray - two discs of fantastic episodes. The animation looks great in 1080P. This series shows no signs of slowing down.

A great Blu ray set got a great tv series. A must have!

Season Five is the longest Season currently released. The episodes are enjoyable and fun. Recommended if you are a fan of the Adventure Time show.

My daughter loves this show. It arrived earlier than I had expected which turned out great.

My family loves to watch Adventure time. it is a great set because it is longer then the others and really good on a car trip.
